Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - How Does One Win Against Eternal Tofu? o.O

Time flies! Just completed the 201st brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

This brawl actually took place on 1 May, but I haven't been able to do this post earlier because I was away earlier this month. So it's time to catch up!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 8 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 8th!

So for the final result, we were 8th out of 10 guilds and got 431 Merits and around 11 SPS!

Individually, I had 8 fights this time and I won 3 of them this time! Finished 6th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 1 additional win for me.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Palidon Rakk and Katrelba Gobson

I had totally no chance against the opposing Quora Towershead in this one. Palidon Rakk did pretty well to clock two Bloodlust but it still wasn't enough.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

My opponent did something very interesting, parking a card with Camouflage between two cards with Martyr. This meant any Sneak cards would score 2 Martyr boosts for that Gobson Bomber. Anyway, as a result, my opponent's damage output was lacking and my team somehow breezed through with an easy and perfect 6-0 win!

Battle 4 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

My opponent's summoner was the MVP for this battle for sure. Against Eternal Tofu, there was no chance no matter which lineup I put out. And it's not surprise that a Level 1 Eternal Tofu is going at a whooping 54 USD in the market.

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Marisol Contuma and Captain Katie

My opponent had two Legendary cards in the lineup and they proved enough just to scrape through this battle for a win. My team was strong but just didn't have enough firepower to deal with it.

Am missing my 3 other battles because somehow they have been bumped off the historical battles list in my Splinterlands homepage. :(

So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! An awful 40% win rate this time round, and including losses to powerhouses like Eternal Tofu and Quora Towershead as expected.
