Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Forgotten One Definitely Wasn't Forgotten This Time

Time flies! Just completed the 24th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me. Had 7 battles this time and I did much better than I expected!

  • We Got 2nd!

So for the final result, we maintained our podium this time, finished 2nd out of 9 guilds and got a whopping 915 Merits!

Individually, I had 7 fights this time, and what a change of fortunes, I managed to win 5! Ended up 2nd within the guild! Woohoo!

Let's jump into the battles!

Battle 1 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Sarius

Off to a bad start as my team had an awful lot of misses on the opposing Regal Peryton and even with Yodin Zaku, I couldn't turn it around.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Isgard Vorst

My trusty Water lineup did well to score a comfortable win! Djinn Oshannus's Void caused a lot of problems for the (almost) full Magic lineup on the opposing team. And my backline of cards comfortably piled on the damage all the way. A bit mixed on who should be the MVP this time, so I will stick to the tank!

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Katrelba Gobson

Quix the Devious was chosen solely to accommodate my only Gold Gladius card but once again, Unicorn Mustang's Void caused a lot of problems for the opposing Magic lineup, and even more so after it was Enraged. And to make things worse for the opposing side, Katrelba Gobson gained her Bloodlust and was finally Enraged as well, finishing at 11 Melee and 12 Speed (see screenshot below). Lol.

Battle 4 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Ajax Lightfoot

Was countered badly in this one on the summoner and my Life cards were of both of a lower level and less powerful as well. Went down quite easily.

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

Was a little worried when I saw Sea Monster on the opposing side in this Poison battle. Fortunately, Forgotten One ensured that I outlast my opponent, so the MVP goes to him!

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Orella Abadon

Another Poison fight! This was a low mana fight and once again, Forgotten One outlasted everyone by sheer HP. Just look at the HP of the cards in the lineups.

Opponent fled!

So that sums up my 7 battles for this brawl! Really happy with the result!

Being hearing a lot lately about pizza and splinterland I wonder if they are different or the same...regardless am trying to wrap my heads around it for now till I understand what it's. For the meantime, I am actually going around opeaseas and nfts...
