Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Ancient Lich + Venari Marksrat = Fireworks!

Time flies! Just completed the 231st brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 9 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 5th!!!

So for the final result, we were 5th out of 10 guilds and got 450 Merits and around 18 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 9 fights this time and I won 7 of them this time! Finished 4th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 0 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst

Easy win here, as Sea Monster was too strong for the opposing Chimney Wallstop. Good start!

Opponent fled! Another good start!

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie

This was a good fight! Both teams put up strong teams and there were many similar cards from both sides too. Fortunately, my tank was Ulundin Overseer was way stronger and this bought a lot of time for my backline to get the hits done. And we won this close battle!

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

This was not really a battle. Was looking forward to a good fight but oh well, we take this win!

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Alfredo

There's a reason why this Legendary summoners are so strong and there was no way out for me against the opposing Byzantine Kitty. I tried to take some risks but the strategy didn't quite work out.

Battle 7 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell

This was really a one card show! Sola Ranjell took down every single card and got all the Bloodlust, and it was just too easy. Definitely a very strong card for Little League fights!

Battle 8 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Alfredo

Second appearance for Alfredo this battle and second loss as well. I felt that I could have done better in my cards and the lack of a Magic damage card cost me the win. Definitely had a winning chance against this lineup. Maybe I was tired after so many battles.

Battle 9 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

After a series of low mana fights, we finally got a high mana battle fight! I toyed with an interesting lineup led by Astral Entity, and it was very interesting to pair Venari Marksrat with Ancient Lich in this Rebirth battle because of the Martyr boosts. Ancient Lich lived up to its expectations of a strong Legendary card and effortlessly took down all the big cards. Perfect 6-0 win here!
