I think Midrange Nature will always be the most meta-resistant; you can make it more Aggro or Mid very easily to adapt to the meta.
Deception is just so good against Zombies. Counterfeit your Scepter, Bound By Her Will to steal your Obelisk, and you're done. Zombies only came back from the dead (haha) in the last couple of weeks because Deception has stopped being the meta for some reason.

Control deception counters zombies hard, but hidden rush deception has a rough time after the zombies start swarming.
