RE: CGRF Sponsorship Proposal - The Walking Dead Empires

The thing I'm not sure about, about either of these proposals is how interested these people would be in playing Splinterlands. It's not just about web 3 interest but also the type of game surely. Isn't it usual for gamers to prefer certain types of games. Are either of the games we're proposing to support card games? Or are they something completely different? I don't have a lot of personal experience in gaming so am basing this on the observation of family members and their friends. They all seem to be pretty niche in what types of games they play and despite my trying to recrit them intio Splinterlands over the years none of them are interested. Not because of Slinterlands per se but simply because they're not interested in card type games.

It's a fair point. Honestly we won't know until we try. The thing to keep in mind though is that if we manage to bring in a couple thousand new players we're doubling the Splinterlands player base and making both us and those new players stronger with a sustainable project to grow with. At this point we have to start growing or we just keep dwindling away over time. We designed this project very carefully to ensure it isn't just a "free money" situation and should reward people that integrate with our community and grow with us.

"we won't know until we try." This was going through my mind as I was writing my comment. I'm still a bit disgruntled(?) with how badly marketing was handled in the past with the scattershot approach and no follow up analysis. 😁 That is no longer the case with you and Dave keeping an eye on things so I'll be interested to see how these work out if you get the go ahead. Thanks for all you do!
