Today I made the following updates:

  • Added the ability to select your game board in Practice mode

  • Added the "Thornwood Forest" game board, which is covered in overgrowth that's hard to pass, has powerful "Tree of Life" tiles, and "Animal Instincts" that give a bonus to attack at the expense of hit rate.

  • Added the "Blighted Bog" game board, which has cursed mud that affects hit rate, blight bloom that spreads each round and inflicts poison, and swarm nests that damage units and move around the board

  • Increased the size of terrain tile runes to make them easier to see

  • Improved pathfinding so units avoid negative tiles when possible

  • Implemented the charge ability (active ability, charges at an enemy that's up to 3 tiles away and pushes it back)

  • Implemented the camouflage ability (unit can't be attacked for 1 turn)

  • Created a basic game guide with details on gameplay mechanics, abilities, conditions, terrain, game modes, etc.
