Splinterlands
It took a long time, but I finally resolved and jumped into a new adventure on Splinterlands!
In fact, after seeing the incredible rewards gained by @zaku - who plays, however, at a much higher level than mine - I too tried to sign up.... for my FIRST tournament on Splinterlands!
How did it go?
Obviously a slaughter... for me 😂
In fact, the first available tournament allowed creatures up to the maximum level available in the Gold League:
Considering that my collection isn't even maxed for the Silver League, I'll let you imagine how many chances I had of getting through even the first round 😅
That's a shame, because reaching the second round would have earned me 16 SPS more than what I paid to join the tournament.
However, the experience will definitely come in handy, because now I finally have an idea of how tournaments work and I will be able to continue joining them and try to improve my perfomances!
HoloZing and Rise of the Pixels
As by an unspoken agreement, two of the newest games under development on Hive have decided over the past few weeks to enable their referrals programs to reward those players who invite other users to join these projects.
On HoloZing, in particular, it is also possible - at least for a limited time - to retroactively indicate who introduced us to the game: I, for example, have set @libertycrypto27, so I can give back a small part of the enormous support he has always shown me!

C'è voluto un sacco di tempo, ma alla fine mi sono deciso e mi sono lanciato in una nuova avventura su Splinterlands!
Dopo aver infatti visto le incredibili ricompense ottenute da @zaku - che gioca però ad un livello molto più alto del mio - ho provato anch'io ad iscrivermi.... al mio PRIMO torneo su Splinterlands!
Come è andata?
Ovviamente un massacro 😂
Il primo torneo disponibile consentiva infatti l'utilizzo di creature fino al livello massimo per la Lega Oro:
Considerando che la mia collezione non è maxata nemmeno per la Lega Argento, vi lascio immaginare quante chances avevo di sorpassare anche solo il primo round 😅
Peccato, perchè raggiungendo il secondo round avrei guadagnato 16 SPS in più rispetto a quelli pagati per partecipare al torneo.
L'esperienza mi tornerà però sicuramente utile, perchè adesso finalmente mi sono fatto un'idea di come funzionano i tornei e potrò continuare a parteciparvi e provare a migliorare le mie perfomances!
HoloZing e Rise of the Pixels
Come per un tacito accordo, due dei più recenti giochi in via di sviluppo su Hive hanno deciso nel corso delle ultime settimane di abilitare dei programmi referrals per andare a premiare quei giocatori che invitino altri utenti ad iscriversi a questi progetti.
Su HoloZing, in particolare, è anche possibile - almeno per un periodo di tempo limitato - indicare retroattivamente chi ci ha fatto conoscere il gioco: io ad esempio ho indicato @libertycrypto27, in modo da poter ricambiare una piccola parte dell'enorme supporto che mi ha sempre dimostrato!
