If the rest of the world sees this news, what would they think of us?
I think that most countries already have a negative perception of us in terms of behavior and this video only goes further to illustrate that idea... plus, they will just think that we are sore losers, which is not far from the truth. On the other hand though, some will understand that it goes beyond just football... Crowd behavior like this is hardly ever unprovoked and knowing that can lead them to wonder what the root of the problem is, but also, most people know that we are suffering from bad governance, especially in light of the #EndSARZ protest that later led to the rising of other issues within the country.
What they did, is it proper for them to have done this?
It wasn't the nicest scene to watch, but in my opinion, these things will always happen when the masses are not satisfied with government... This wasn't the first match we lost in our history, neither was it the first time we were failing to qualify for the world cup... Inasmuch as it wasn't proper to destroy our own facility, it is sometimes necessary for your oppressor to beware of your disapproval of his oppression, so i see how this can happen, and it might happen again if things continue like this or worsen
They should never have attacked the opposing supporters though, that was completely out of place.
would you be surprised to see a news update of over 1Billionaire spent on repairs in the stadium?
I would be surprised if I don't see that or more... I'll be a bit disappointed too :)
Who should we blame for this act, the fans who attacked or the government and why?
The government is to blame because this was only a product of their neglection of the voice of the people... They now understand that you cannot distract the people from this elephant in the room. The people are also to blame because we are all responsible for our own actions.
Do you think Nigeria would ever be removed from this indefinite ban placed by FIFA on World Cup and why?
They will be removed after a while, but since they(FIFA) will get the information that it was not just about football but more about bad governance, they will only be incline to lift the ban when they feel like Nigeria is in a better political state. And even with that, we will likely have a lot of sanctions to contend with by then.
