Why I Delegated 100 HP to the @splintertrends Project

In the HIVE ecosystem, there are plenty of ways to put your Hive Power (HP) to work. Recently, I decided to delegate 100 HP to the @splintertrends project, and I’d like to share why I made that choice.

Why @splintertrends?

  • Passive $TRENDZ earnings – every day that my delegation is active, I earn Delegation Points, which are later converted into $TRENDZ tokens at the end of each reward cycle.
  • More than just delegation – the project uses the delegated HP to upvote Splinterlands-related content and engage with the community, so it creates value beyond just token distribution.
  • Stable token price – the $TRENDZ token has been holding steady around 1 SWAP.HIVE, which makes the rewards more predictable.
  • Community support – by delegating, I’m not only earning tokens, but also strengthening the Splinterlands content ecosystem.

For me, this combination of supporting the community while earning a passive return makes a lot of sense.

Who should consider it?

If you have at least 100 HP sitting unused, this could be a great way to let it work for you. Delegating to @splintertrends gives you:

  • Daily Delegation Points → $TRENDZ rewards
  • Access to his site’s advanced features
  • Extra benefits in loyalty programs and airdrops

It only takes a few clicks via Hive Keychain/Peakd, and you can always track your progress transparently on his website.

My reasons

For me, I chose @splintertrends because I know the developer personally, and I’m genuinely curious to see where this project will go. It feels like an interesting experiment, one that not only supports the Splinterlands community but also lets me be part of a journey that could evolve into something bigger. On top of that, it’s still a way to earn a small amount of passive income while contributing to a project I believe in.
