In general, profit is necessary for sustainability. OpenAI needs significant financial resources to maintain its operations and achieve its long-term goals. Yet no matter what one might say, no one can guarantee that AI is developed and used for the benefit of humanity? Unfortunately, it is already used in various conflicts at the global level and things do not seem to end in the near future.

I personally strongly believe that Musk's desire to protect humanity from the potential dangers of AI is a false desire. He just wants absolute control of this intelligent sector - nothing more.
