Things we love about Hive - Serfdom and sorcery RPG discord game....
Introduction
We love Hive! So many cool things, so many cool people! Every now and then it is good to highlight some of the projects we love and spread the love a bit! Today we want to highlight a new Hive games called Serfdom and Sorcery which is an RPG game made by the @psyberx team. This has grown very quickly into one of the most rapidly expanding things on Hive at the present time and deserves to be celebrated.
What is it
SO S&S is a text based RPG all run on discord. Now it reminds us a bit of the old school text based games that you would play in the early days of computers, so as a start there is something nostalgic about it. What is great about it, is that it is easy to access and easy to start playing. You don't need to put in any money you can just start playing, however a few Dblns to start would go a long way to starting your adventure.
Tokenomics of the game so far are pretty simple, you earn Dblns and you spend dblns. To earn dblns there are many things you can do, kill monsters, hunt, fish, mine or if you are a pillager you can also steal (not our favourite thing). There is a swap hive and level LP pool for the token already and the liquidity is starting to build. they are also introducing more token sinks such as increasing the % of withdrawing that is burnt.
Now it is early days for the game and already you have a list of actions and commands. There are quests you can do and monsters to fight. You can also start duelling your friends now in a recent update. It is easy to play and there are quite a few lists of commands and lots of people to help out. Here are some of the things you can do in the game, but there are lots more!
There are lots of other things about the game which are growing rapidly. Owning animals and buildings which do things as well as soon the introduction of teaming up and fighting a boss, there was also a mention of guilds too. This would add even more dimensions to the game. It really has as much potential as you can think of and although I am not a dev the road to change is maybe not as complicated as games that involve art work and things to develop, it just requires @jboss to get no sleep......
Conclusion
Now we love this game, so simple, yet so fun. From the road map and discussions in discord we can see the many many things that they are planning and it is all quite exciting. It is a very addictive game, but start playing now and if you want to know a bit more then check out their new roadmap released this week.

definitely improving on that front as it was frustrating there for a while, it is very alpha so need to be a little forgiving!
It has, but when you have the time to play and it’s down…. Kinda pisses you off. But it has gotten better.
