Pepe Battle Frogs Game Strategy Update - Protection With Armor

It has been awhile since I published a game update for the awesome Pepe Battle Frogs Game on the Hive Blockchain. I have been busy, and finally found some time to jump back into this awesome game. It's a lot of fun, and the gameplay is reminiscent of Splinterlands. If you like Splinterlands, you'll love this.

Protection with Armor has been a challenge, and I was able to win battle stage 5 by the skin of my teeth. I have a team of a mele frog and two wizards. I was defeated heartedly in stage 6 (the final stage) of Protection with Armor and will need to purchase some more packs and frogs to strengthen my squad.

Leveling up your squad is important in Battle Frogs. You need to purchase packs and you can get the level you need on the marketplace. When you level up, you can choose which stat to increase, and I have been focusing on health and speed. My squad is typically a mele frog with a lot of health and some wizards or archers who can lay damage on the stack quickly. Speed is important here.

I have staked 1,000 VOLTs and am interested in learning about governance tokens. When do we receive them? Can they be purchased? What do they do in the game?

Can offer cards for other tokens as I, @pepetoken, can now send cards.

Governance tokens (GOV) will be on a market in the future.

They do not do anything yet. By holding GOV will be able to take part in governance of the game. GOV tokens are distributed weekly.

Love to work on ways of reaching out into other communities and blockchains to invite users to our token community on hive and our Pepe Game.

Yes it is. Open to accept HBD and LEO. Current ask is about $25.60. Another user got a level four and approximated this value. Will be a great addition for upcoming 6 x 6 battles. As a thank you will return deldations of PEPE that I lowered to go elsewhere for a little while. !BBH !DIY !DOOK

Would you like an Invite?

It's a really simple version of Splinterlands. Each round each card attacks in order of their speed from highest to lowest. Attacking card lights up its background, attacked card background changes to color of attack. Here's a replay link if you wanna see how it goes.

There are sound effects too, but you usually have to click the page to let the browser know you want sound.

Card packs have 3 cards in them with at least one Rare or better. Only 0.5 HBD a pack. You'll need 2 or 3 to start probably, unless you get lucky opening the first pack. Once you get started it's easy to earn a little of the in-game "currency" each day which can be used to buy cards from the market or buy packs or staked for 15% APR or swapped for HBD at a fixed rate.

And rumor has it that next weekend there will be a pack giveaway for all Invited accounts. But so far it's just a rumor.

The Vote and Market buttons are not Live yet but that gives you an idea of what you can do with GOV tokens.

Vote for proposals players or the team put up for a vote. Your vote is weighted according to the number of GOV you hold.

Buy/Sell GOV on the AMM Market the dev and his assistant are building. The pair will be GOV:VOLT. The team will provide lots of liquidity.

@pepetoken is right about the GOV tokens. They airdrop once a week based on your VOLT Power (VP). You get 1 GOV per 1000 VP and you get the first airdrop right away when you first power up 1000 or more VOLTs to VP. See my reply to Ironshield on this post for more info.
