Wanna know a bit more about the new Rising Star cards?

Introduction

We thought we would do a few posts on what some of the cards are all about in Rising Star. There is no better time to do this than after new cards day which happened this week!

We think that the cards come in 4 main categories, dad jokes, puns, bad rhymes and musical reference. Sometimes they even cross all four of those headings. These cards are extra special and should be treasured. We also wanted to highlight our card of the month. . So lets take a look at some of what @atomcllector has to offer this month!

Card of the month

Such a big gratz to @clove71 such a big supporter and influencer of Rising Star gets a well deserved legendary card! If you have not watched her streams or followed her then give her some support now and she really is pushing Hive! Big up Clove!

It is always great that Rising Star support and highlights the Hive community

Now this may have been last month...but we love Florence and the machine! She has a voice to die for and has written some brilliant tunes!

Great to see this instrument pop into the game as we just bought 2 of them a few months ago, such fun with this quirky Japanese instrument...

If you want to see it in all its annoying glory this is a cool video made with one!

Now pink Floyd is an all time super group and I believe it was recently the 50th anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon. This instrument is referring to Comfortably Numb a classic song by them .

Obviously a Pink Floyds month, I should just link the album as it is all gold.

I mean it is a pun/dad joke, anyone know a bloke called Les?

I am going to suggest this is a more subtle pun that is a huge political statement in the form of a penny whistle.... (does anyone know where I can get some eggs?)
