Rising Star Progress #8 - Now Featuring Bagpipers

It's been a busy time, both in the Rising Star game and on the homefront. As this is about Rising Star, I'll stick to Rock and Roll!

I have broken through level 100, unlocking the next mission, which, unsurprisingly, requires more gas cans bringing the current number of gas can NFTs needed to progress to ten. As I already had five cans of gas, it was just a matter of dropping the Starbits to acquire five more cans of gas. No biggie.

Now that I have ten gas cans, giving me plenty of gas (no pun intended), I thought I would purchase some packs as I had accumulated enough Starbits to purchase 36 packs. Guess what? Still no legendary card for me! Out of 36 packs, I ended up with 37 rares, meaning I picked up an extra rare, and one new epic.

Romy and Flash were both new to my collection, and both nice to have. But the really nice drop was -

Hamish! Yes the Scottish Bagpiper finally joined my collection. This was a card high on my list of "I want this card" and he dropped in. If you are wondering why I am big on bagpipes, well, that goes back to my youth when I was a drummer in my High School's Scottish Pipeband. No, I never learned to play the pipes, but I have always loved the skirl of the pipes. And, besides, bagpipes have been featured in a number of Rock and Roll songs, like Ac/DC's "It's a Long Way to the Top, if You Want to Rock and Roll", so it is a natural fit with the theme of this this game.

Now if only Jux and the Dev team will include bagpipes as instruments, maybe even the flame-throwing pipes ala The Bad Piper. That would be hot. Pun inteneded.

I've been running the Fan Club mission twice per day, and music lessons also twice per day. However, I think I have enough of a buffer built up on my skill to ego ratio that I can cut back on my music lessons to once per day.

I think that's about it for this time around. Thanks for stopping by.

Nice, i'm just about to crack level 15.. As my real life music career is still at the open mic stage, and i doubt whether it'll progress much further, Ha. Still, back to the game, it's my sort of game.

at least you are performing in real life, and working on a music career. Keep playing, performing every chance you get. And as for the game, it's a fun game, I like it, it is entertaining, and I've been taking an interest in playing guitar again.
