Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Amores como el nuestro: Los Olestar

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: It´s a Man´s, Man´s, Man´s World: James Brown

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Amores como el nuestro of the group Los Olestar.

The other morning a friend of mine sent me, as usual, a song that he thought I might like. Usually it's usually K-Pop songs, as it's meant to make me end up liking it. At the moment, except for the odd song I haven't really gotten that hooked on the genre. I'm not that much of a fan of his basics in the songs and the use of his voice during his songs.

However, I had been surprised with a song by a punk-rock band that is dedicated to reversing famous cumbia and cuarteto songs such as Amores como el nuestro by Los Charros. I already knew the song in its cumbia version, but I was surprised and liked it even more when I heard its Rock version.

I didn't know Los Olestar or Los Charros, so my friend recommended them to me and it was an opportunity to get to know more Argentine rock songs like Se Parece Mas A Ti.

Los Olestar is an Argentine punk rock band known for making punk versions of cumbia classics, cuarteto and other popular genres. The band has more than 30000 listeners on the Spotify platform.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
