Presets in MoonKarts - Helps you to Save your Kart Setups

Presets, just like other racing games, allows you to save your setups in your next games. In high-paced racing games like Moon Karts, every millisecond counts—and so does every choice you make before the race even begins. That’s where Presets come in: a smart mechanic that gives you flexibility without the fuss—and as someone who’s dissected many racing-config systems, I can appreciate how well this one is put together.

What Are Presets?

Presets are saved configurations that let players store and reuse different combinations of their racing assets. In Moon Karts, you can have up to four distinct presets. Each preset holds your chosen driver, kart, tech cards, accessories, and power-ups. This means instead of fumbling with gear before each race, you simply select a preset and you’re good to go.

Creating & Managing Your Presets

The system is designed to be intuitive. After custom-configuring your loadout—you pick driver, kart, tech card, accessories, power-ups—you can save it as one of your four presets. And if you evolve—say you acquire new tech cards or accessories—you’re free to edit and update any of those presets over time. The docs stress that flexibility is important: your presets should grow with your collection and evolving strategy.

Why Presets Matter Strategically

What makes Presets more than just a convenience is their tactical value:

  • Track-specific optimization: Some tracks favor tight turns, others long straights. You can tailor one or more presets for those different racing environments, so you’re never caught off guard.
  • Opponent awareness: If you know your competition tends to use particular build styles, you can switch presets accordingly to counter them.
  • Balanced vs. specialized builds: You might have a balanced setup for general races and another aimed strictly at speed or defense. Presets allow both to coexist without having to rebuild each time.
