Saludos amigos creativos y comunidad @diyhub , espero que se encuentren bien y tengan un feliz fin de semana junto a sus seres queridos, en esta ocasión les comparto un nuevo proyecto inspirado en los personajes de Splinterlands, se trata de una pulsera verde y marrón en la cual tomé como referencia los colores de Earth Elemental les muestro el proceso de elaboración.
Esta pulsera toma como referencia un personaje que representa un árbol el cual es muy frondoso con grandes ramas y un tronco grueso, en el árbol se pueden ver varios tonos de marrón y para elaborar este proyecto utilicé el marrón más oscuro que se puede visualizar en las estrías en el tronco del del árbol, este árbol desde mi punto de vista representa la importancia de los árboles en el planeta y el pasado mes de junio celebramos en el colegio el Día mundial de la conservación del ambiente, allí nos explicaron la importancia que tiene los árboles para mantener el equilibrio en el planeta, en esta actividad utilizamos material de reciclaje para reducir la emisión de basura y cuidar el planeta, los árboles son el pulmón vegetal del planeta y quienes transforman el dióxido de carbono en oxígeno para que podamos respirar aire puro y fresco.
Greetings creative friends and community @diyhub, I hope you are well and have a happy weekend with your loved ones, this time I share with you a new project inspired by the characters of Splinterlands, this is a green and brown bracelet in which I took as reference the colors of Earth Elemental I show you the process of elaboration.
This bracelet takes as reference a character that represents a tree which is very leafy with large branches and a thick trunk, in the tree you can see various shades of brown and to make this project I used the darkest brown that can be seen in the grooves on the trunk of the tree, this tree from my point of view represents the importance of trees on the planet and last June we celebrated World Environment Day at school, there they explained to us the importance of trees in maintaining balance on the planet, in this activity we used recycled material to reduce the emission of garbage and take care of the planet, trees are the plant lung of the planet and those who transform carbon dioxide into oxygen so that we can breathe pure and fresh air.

Para la elaboración de la pulsera, lo primero que haremos será medir y cortar los hilos anudadores y los hilos de base, usaremos un hilo base que tendrá un largo de 40 centímetros y los hilos anudadores tendrán 130 centímetros ambos son de color marrón, al momento de hacer la pulsera es importante que tengamos las medidas de los hilos correctas, para obtener el tamaño deseado, si algún hilo es más pequeño, la joya quedará asimétrica.
To make the bracelet, the first thing we will do is measure and cut the knotting threads and the base threads, we will use a base thread that will be 40 centimeters long and the knotting threads will be 130 centimeters long, both are brown, when making the bracelet it is important that we have the correct measurements of the threads, to obtain the desired size, if any thread is smaller, the jewel will be asymmetrical.
Luego colocamos los hilos base en la superficie plana, agregamos los hilos anudadores, fijamos con cinta adhesiva dejando una distancia de 10 centímetros en la parte de arriba del hilo base, el sobrante de hilo servirá para colocar el nudo con el cual cerraremos la pulsera.
Then we place the base threads on the flat surface, add the knotting threads, and secure them with tape, leaving a distance of 10 centimeters at the top of the base thread. The excess thread will be used to place the knot with which we will close the bracelet.
Con los hilos anudadores ya en la base, iniciamos el tejido, formamos media luna y pasamos el hilo del lado izquierdo por encima de la media luna, luego lo pasamos por debajo de la base y finalmente por la letra D, amarramos presionando fuerte, para que los nudos queden firmes y continuamos así, hasta formar tres nudos de cada lado.
Luego introducimos un abalorio por los hilos base y hacemos un nudo plano completo, este permitirá que los abalorios nos queden bien ubicados y a la misma distancia, también un mejor acabado.
With the knotting threads already in place, we begin weaving, forming a half-moon shape and passing the left-hand thread over the half-moon. Then, we pass it under the base and finally through the letter D. We tie it, pressing firmly to secure the knots. We continue like this until we have three knots on each side.
Then, we insert a bead through the base threads and tie a full flat knot. This will allow the beads to be positioned correctly and at the same distance, resulting in a better finish.
Continuamos realizando el nudo plano y colocando los abalorios hasta llegar a la medida que queramos. En mi caso tejí hasta 16 cm, si queremos una pulsera acorde al ancho de la muñeca, tomamos la medida de esta con una cinta métrica y la divideron en dos partes, si mide cuarenta centímetros, el tejido será de veinte centímetros, los centímetros faltantes los distribuiremos a ambos lados y en ellos haremos el nudo franciscano para cerrar.
We continue making the flat knot and placing the beads until we reach the desired measurement. In my case, I wove up to 16 cm. If we want a bracelet that matches the width of the wrist, we measure it with a tape measure and divide it into two parts. If it measures 40 centimeters, the weave will be 20 centimeters. We distribute the remaining centimeters on both sides and tie the Franciscan knot to close the bracelet.
Luego cortamos los hilos anudadores que sobraron y sellamos con el yesquero para darle un acabado prolijo, al momento de sellar trataremos en la medida de lo posible que los extremos de los hilos queden cubiertos totalmente para evitar que se deshilache.
Then we cut the excess knotting threads and seal them with the lighter to give them a neat finish. When sealing, we try to ensure that the ends of the threads are completely covered to prevent fraying.
Para finalizar hacemos un nudo franciscano, tomamos un hilo de veinte centímetros, formamos un tubo en los 10 centímetros de hilo que dejamos al iniciar y al final del tejido, dejando hilo en ambos extremos, luego los pasamos por el tubo que hicimos anteriormente, hacemos un nudo pequeño y sencillo en las puntas, sellamos con el yesquero y así tendremos listo el nudo franciscano para cerrar y abrir la pulsera.
To finish we make a Franciscan knot, take a twenty centimeter thread, form a tube in the 10 centimeters of thread that we left at the beginning and at the end of the weaving, leaving thread at both ends, then we pass them through the tube that we made previously, make a small and simple knot at the ends, seal with the tinderbox and thus we will have the Franciscan knot ready to close and open the bracelet.
