Today I'm going to teach you how to create two fun characters from the children's series "Teletubbies" (Po and Dipsy!) using moldable foam clay. Buenas Noches 🌙 familia @diyhub, amantes de los trabajos manuales y artesanías, el día de hoy les enseñaré a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) a dos divertidos personajes de la serie infantil Teletubbies (Po y Dipsy). Espero les guste la creación, a toda la comunidad en general y yo súper contento en presentarles mi experiencia con este material flexible. ¡Acompáñame! 😊

Speaking a bit about who these four colorful and fun friends are, I'll tell you that the Teletubbies are a children's series based on traditional games for babies and a different story in each episode. Well, while remembering them, I developed these lively characters out of moldable foam clay. I know it's not much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.

Hablando un poco de quién son estos cuatro coloridos personajes y divertidos amigos, les comentaré que los Teletubbies son una serie infantil basada en juegos tradicionales para bebés e historias distintas en cada capítulo. Pues al recordarlos desarrolle estos animados en foami moldeable. Sé que no es mucho, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte.

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

  • Foami moldeable Verde / Green foam clay

  • Foami moldeable Amarillo / Yellow foam clay

    STEP/PASO 1

    In the initial phase, I begin by taking portions of green and red foam clay to form the bodies of these lively characters. Then, using my hands, I shape the clay into spherical forms, smoothing them out to create a uniform and curious finish.
    En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color verde y rojo para el cuerpo de los animados. Luego, con las manos moldeó el color en forma de bolas, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

    STEP/PASO 2

    Next, I develop the movement parts of the Teletubbies, their hands, legs, antennae, ears and accessories, always giving my best.
    Seguidamente, desarrollo las partes del movimiento en los Teletubbies, sus manos, patas, antenas, orejas y accesorios, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

    STEP/PASO 3

    Finally, we added the final touches to the eyes and mouth, using red and black for the shine. This design is a bit more complex, as the parts are smaller to mold.
    Ya por último, realizamos los retoques finales en sus ojos y boca, utilizando el color rojo y negro para el brillo. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

    It's worth noting that this design was found on Pinterest; however, the creation of the animated versions was done by me, with dedication, to make them look more beautiful in your home or bedroom.
    Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado en Pinterest; pero la realización de los animados son hechos por mí, con dedicación para que luzcan mas bonitos en tu hogar o dormitorio.

    Que belleza , me encantó tu trabajo , creeme que siempre he sentido fascinación por esa habilidad , desde pequeña veía a mi hermana hacer animalitos con plastilina y me queda impresionada, sencillamente eso no se me da 🤭, como admiro quienes pueden, tus creaciones son fascinantes , trabajas con mucha limpieza 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
