DIY: Two-tone youth top inspired by Janni Rebel (Eng - Esp)
Greetings creative friends, I wish you an excellent and blessed day. I am happy to share the creation of a new sewing project, inspired by the characters of Splinterlands Janni Rebel a comfortable gold and black top, based on the character's outfit. It is easy to make and ideal for tropical climates, exercising, or everyday use; the fabric is soft and fresh.
These bras are trendy for their comfort and freshness, and they're also popular for going to the gym. This will be a gift for a dear friend who likes to be comfortable at home for her activities. Without the underwires that some bra styles have, micro peach fabric is one of my favorites for this type of garment due to its softness, freshness, and elasticity. It's also easy to sew. I invite you to join me in the making process.
I'm sure she'll be very happy to receive her gift. Last week was her birthday and I think this is a good gift, plus it's her favorite garment. The combination of gold and black colors looks very good and is elegant. The wide elastic at the bottom provides comfort and support. Its texture is soft and does not irritate the skin. In fact, I've used it in several underwear projects, such as boxers for children and adults, tights, Bermuda shorts, and pajamas.
Saludos amigos creativos les deseo un excelente y bendecido día, me siento feliz de compartir elaboración de un nuevo proyecto de costura, inspirado en los personajes de Splinterlands Janni Rebel un cómodo top de color dorado y negro, tomando como referencia el atuendo del personaje, es sencillo de hacer e ideal para zonas de climas tropicales, hacer ejercicios o de uso diario; la tela es suave y fresca.
Los top están en tendencia por su comodidad y frescura, además son muy usados para ir al gimnasio, este será un obsequio para una amiga muy querida, que le gusta estar cómoda en casa para hacer sus actividades, sin las varillas que traen algunos modelos de brasier, la tela micro durazno es una de mis favoritas para este tipo de prendas por su suavidad, frescura y elasticidad, también es sencilla de coser, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.
Seguro ella estará muy feliz al recibir su obsequio, la semana pasada fue su cumpleaños y creo que este es un buen regalo, además su prenda favorita, la combinación de los colores dorado y negro se ve muy bien y es elegante, el elástico ancho en el bajo, brinda comodidad y soporte, su textura es suave y no irrita la piel, de hecho lo he usado en varios proyectos de ropa interior, como boxer para niños y adultos, pantys, bermudas y pijamas.

Elaboration
The making process requires a few steps. I started by marking the pieces and then cutting them; front and back. From the front, I cut two pieces so that it has a lining and a main part. Having two front pieces makes it firmer and provides greater support to the bust.

El proceso de elaboración requiere pocos pasos, inicié marcando las piezas y luego corté; delantero y posterior, del delantero corté dos piezas para que tenga forro y principal, al tener dos piezas delanteras queda más firme y brinda mayor soporte al busto.
To assemble the top, I faced the back and front pieces at the shoulders and sides, placed the other piece on top, which will be the lining, secured it with pins, and sewed the sides and shoulders with a straight stitch.
Para ensamblar el top, enfrenté la pieza trasera y delantera por los hombros y costados, encima coloqué la otra que será el forro, fijé con alfileres y cosí con puntada recta los laterales y hombros.
Once the top was assembled, the next step was to attach the bias binding to the neck and armholes. I placed the bias binding right side up with the fabric and sewed with a decorative stitch, stretching the bias binding by one (1) centimeter every four (5) centimeters. The bias binding is attached with the berries or embellishments facing down so that when turned, they face outward and adorn the top.
Ensamblado el top, el siguiente paso fue pegar el sesgo en el cuello y sisas, coloqué el sesgo enfrentando el derecho con la tela y cosí con puntada decorativa estirando un (1) centímetro de sesgo cada cuatro (5) centímetros, el sesgo se pega con las moritas o adornos hacia abajo para que al voltear estas queden hacia afuera y adornen el top.
Then I turned the bias to the wrong side so that the blackberries were facing outwards and sewed again using a decorative stitch. To highlight the colors of the top and obtain a better finish, I used gold thread in the top stitching.
Luego volteé el sesgo hacia el revés de tal forma que las moritas queden hacia afuera y cosí nuevamente usando puntada decorativa, para resaltar los colores del top y obtener un mejor acabado, usé hilo dorado en la costura superior.
I liked the result of the top and the color combination, when sewing underwear I like to use soft elastics that match the fabric, those from Morita are my favorites because of their versatility and easy handling, also because they give a youthful and fresh style to the garment with the ornaments that stand out, I hope the tutorial is useful, since my son is already on vacation I will have more time to do several sewing projects including cartridge belts, backpacks and some tops for my use, I love this garment, it is really comfortable and easy to make.
Me gustó el resultado del top y la combinación de colores, al coser prendas íntimas me gusta usar elásticos suaves y acordes con la tela, los de morita son mis preferidos por su versatilidad y fácil manejo, también porque le dan estilo juvenil y fresco a la prenda con los adornos que sobresalen, espero el tutorial les sea de utilidad, como ya mi hijo está de vacaciones tendré más tiempo para hacer varios proyectos de costura entre ellos cartucheras, morrales y algunos top para mi uso, me encanta esta prenda, es realmente cómoda y sencilla de hacer.
Once the bias was glued, the next step was to measure the contour of the bottom and subtract ten (10) centimeters, thus obtaining the measurement of the elastic (85 - 10 = 70 cm), then I joined the elastic facing the ends and re-stitched to reinforce the seams.
To finish, I placed the elastic on the wrong side, divided it into four parts and sewed with a straight stitch stretching two (2) by five (5) centimeters, then I turned the elastic right side out and sewed with a zigzag stitch. With these simple steps, the top inspired by Janny Rebel is finished.
Pegado el sesgo, el siguiente paso fue medir el contorno del bajo y le resté diez (10) centímetros, así obtuve la medida del elástico (85 - 10 = 70 cm), lueco uní el,elástico efrentando los extremos y repisé para reforzar las costuras.
Para finalizar coloqué el elástico por el revés, dividí en cuatro partes y cosí con puntada recta estirando dos (2) por cinco (5) centímetros, luego volteé el elástico por el derecho y cosí con puntada de zigzag, con estos sencillos pasos está terminado el top inspirado en Janny Rebel.
