The Stars were Fake.

After taking down the giant machine snake, I went for the data center and found the GAIA version 6.9 but later I found its just a fake. Aloy was leaving Varl with a broken heart but Varl suggested they should go to Meridian to take help.

So, that's when I was running towards the Data Center that was right beside the spot where the giant machine snakes were playing around. I guess you understand why taking down those beasts was a must.

After reaching the place, I had to search for the Data Center for a GAIA Backup and I had to explore around in that ruin for a moment to find the correct spot as it was kinda confusing.

And I just realized I completed the main quest that was titled with "Reach for the Starts". So what? I reached the stars?

Aloy was happy to find the panel of GAIA 6.9 and a model initialized with the avatar of this lady. It looked like the hologram was GAIA itself and she even said Aloy "HI".

But suddenly there came a hologram of Elisabeth from behind GAIA when GAIA stopped responding and then there came a hologram of Travis Tate who seemed the developer of the GAIA and said this is not copy of GAIA.

Aloy got heartbroken and started crying sitting at a corner as all her hard works were for nothing. Even her data should also get messed up for this as per Travis Tate mentioned.

Then there came Varl to look for Aloy and seeing the hologram of the fake GAIA, he was mentioning it as the goddess so Aloy got angry and said there's no goddess.

Saying its nothing but a fake, Aloy went out of the Data Center.

Then Aloy climbed a hill when Varl just followed her like a lamb and after reaching the top, Aloy apologized for her behavior in the Data Center.

Aloy mentioned there's going to be more of that and she's out of leads but she needs to keep searching. As Varl could get hurt, Aloy was asking him to leave her alone and when Aloy was leaving Varl, he reminded her that she said there's a man named Sylens who helped her before.

Then Varl convinced Aloy that they'd visit Meridian to get help from Spymaster Marad who may be able to help them finding Sylens. Varl started walking but Aloy suggested they should use some rides.

I didn't get a chance to ride the mounts as it all happened in the cinematic part though I appreciate it cause riding all those routes were the cause that I started feeling bore playing the first installment of this game and quit paying suddenly.

When they were busy greetings the civilians there, there came Marad and said he also has an urgent matter to discuss with Aloy and its about something happened to the Spire.

There was a big statue of Aloy right beside the Spire and surprisingly it was raining only on that spot. As I didn't complete the story of the first installment, this Spire thing looks confusing to me but Aloy mentioned it's supposed to send out signals and messages for the terraforming system.
