While the 149th brawl is still running, it is high time today to publish our results of the 147th. For the 148th, the draft is waiting so that participation is still possible. Yes, you are invited to blog with me if the effort of doing so alone still seems too much for you. (See MMR)
For this week there will only be this one post, instead of two, with which I participate in the current Social Media Challenge. I easily knew how the time freed up by this could be used differently - and some ideas for this can be found in the current MMR.
Today also marked the end of another season. In the previous one, I started playing in the Modern league, in addition to my participation in Wild with advancement up to Gold III. I made it to the top of the Bronze League in Modern. That was the season from March 31 to April 15.
This time, though, I didn't get past the middle of Bronze I. I got up to a ranking of 900 once and then fell back again. Maybe after all I should use my time for blogging instead.
I also didn't get higher in the Wild League, although I did more battles than in the season before. My results in comparison are unfortunately sobering.
The loot was also sobering. There were no cards in the 16 gold chests I earned. There were no cards in them. Yes, you read correctly. No cards. None at all. Just some SPS, some Potions and a few Merits. My dream of playing with the Soulbound-Summoners in Silver has been shattered today. How can such a small loot still attract new players, if there is not much to get in gold already?
I want to present here today a battle in which I lost against @RNSGAMES. Possibilus the Wise vs Possibilus the Wise. The opponent's Isgald Vorst narrowly saved himself several times through bloodlust and decided the battle. Congratulations!

Während die 149. Rauferei noch läuft, ist es heute höchste Zeit unsere Ergebnisse der 147. zu veröffentlichen. Für die 148. liegt der Entwurf bereit, damit noch Beteiligung möglich ist. Ja, Du bist eingeladen mit mir zu bloggen, wenn Dir allein der Aufwand noch zu groß erscheint. (Siehe MMR)
Für diese Woche gibt es damit von mir nur einen Beitrag, statt zwei, mit dem ich bei der aktuellen Social Media Challenge teilnehme. Die dadurch frei gewordene Zeit wusste ich leicht anders zu verwenden - und einige Ideen dazu finden sich im aktuellen MMR.
Heute ging zudem wieder eine Saison zuende. In der vorherigen begann ich in der Modern-Liga mitzuspielen, neben meiner Teilnahme in Wild mit Aufstieg bis in Gold III. Ich schaffte es in Modern bis ans obere Ende der Bronze-Liga. Das war die Saison von 31. März bis 15. April.
Diesmal kam ich über die Mitte von Bronze I allerdings nicht hinaus. Ich kam einmal bis auf ein Ranking von 900 und fiel dann noch mal wieder zurück. Vielleicht sollte ich meine Zeit doch lieber zum Bloggen nutzen.
Auch in der Wild-Liga kam ich nicht mehr höher, obwohl ich mehr Kämpfe absolvierte, als in der Saison zuvor. Meine Ergebnisse im Vergleich sind damit leider ernüchternd.
Ernüchternd war dann zudem noch die Ausbeute. In den 16 Gold-Kisten, die ich mir erspielte, waren keine Karten. Es waren keine Karten darin. Ja, Du hast richtig gelesen. Keine Karten. Gar keine. Lediglich etwas SPS, einige Potions und ein paar Merits. Mein Traum ist damit heute erstmal geplatzt, bald schon mit den Soulbound-Summonern in Silber zu spielen. Wie kann so geringe Ausbeute noch neue Spieler anlocken, wenn schon in Gold nicht viel zu holen ist?
Präsentieren will ich hier heute einen Kampf, in dem ich gegen @RNSGAMES unterlag. Oben ist ein Bild des Kampfes. Possibilus the Wise gegen Possibilus the Wise. Der Isgald Vorst des Gegners rettete sich mehrmals nur knapp mittels Blutrausch und entschied den Kampf. Gratulation!

When you play both Wild and Modern, do you get the focus chests from both types?
I still want to focus on Wild instead of playing in both types because I have better cards in Wild than Modern.
Last season is very challenging for me. I only got enough rating to advance to Gold league on the last day.
I feel so unlucky for you when you didn't get any card from Gold chest. Hope everything will be better in the next season.
Thank you, yes, I hope, too. I always do. LOL
Playing Modern and Wild at the same time is an extra challenge, as reward points are added to a mutual focus. So when the focus is Gold, like it was at the end of the season and the day the season ended, playing Modern in Bronze feels like earning reward points in Novice back in the days. I always go back to Wild for gaining some focus chests first and mostly hit modern again when the next chest is near - before postponing more play until a next day.
My biggest fun is to play Gladiators once in a while in Bronze while I don't have any of those soulbound summoner in level 3 or 4 yet. And yes, I too struggled to reach anything and lost a lot of battles as seen above. I advanced to Gold only one and a half days before EOS. !invest_vote
