Land Tool: Deed Overview Updates

Welkcom Back Splinterlands Family

I just got back from holiday, and I’m super happy to see the service kept running without any interruption. For me that’s a big plus!
Before I migrated things when it was written in Python, I had to restart the services every now and then because of memory leaks or just some inefficient programming 🤣.

Really glad I spent the time to migrate—it’s paying off.

Now that I’m back, I’ve also started working on developing and improving some features.

Updates are live at:

Deed Overview Updates

With the migration I wanted to bring the deed overview into a single card view.
Apparently most of you prefer this kind of presentation, so I went all-in on that idea.
Used some examples or @royaleagle and @axlertwinblade (baronstoolbox) and made my own version of this.

It was already the plan todo this directly with the migration (python => next.js) but it takes a little more time. So it now done in a separate update.

Any feedback is welkom—whether it’s “I’m missing this info,” “this looks terrible,” or “I got an error.”
Especially errors! I can only test with the land setups I know, but there are so many ways people configure their land, so your feedback helps a lot.

Most of the time I'm more a data kind of guy just present the values and often i can read it but imho it looks a bit better like this.

Changes in This Release

Bug fix (typo)

Thanks @aftersound for pointing it out in your video 🙌.
I’m pretty dyslexic so I don’t always catch these things 🤣.
“Action mark” is now correctly “Auction mark.”

Navigation improvements

On the main page you can now directly jump to the dashboard, region view, or deed view.

New Deed Card View

This is where most of my time went.
All deed data is now packed into a single card overview.

There are two button added to will lead you to splinterlands site to manage your deed or harvest the region where that deed is in:

You can still hover over sections for extra details, like consumed resources:

Or explanations, like net DEC calculations:

Mobile layout tweaks

Updated the top bar and navigation bar to take up less space. Still experimenting here, so feedback is especially welkom on mobile usability.

⚠️ Final Note

Still just a fun hobby project — built during late-night, caffeine-fueled coding sessions. If something breaks… ping me. I’ll fix it. Eventually. 😂

That’s it for this release! Feels great to get back into developing again.
Next week I’m back at work, so updates might slow down a bit—but hey, you never know.

Any remarks, feature requests, or error reports—drop them in the comments. I’m always happy to hear your thoughts.

And as always… see you on the battlefield.

This looks amazing! It almost makes me want to get into Land more! And the fact that you switched to Next.js makes me easily understand the code as opposed to Python that I could barely read :) Please keep going, upvoted!
