Since land 1.75 i was hype on land so on May 20, 2025 i started buying splinterland lands. At first i was just planning to buy 1 plot just to have the taste of it . But after that i ended up buying 3 common plots. Found out that land is a complicated game. My first day harvest was a failure although it was turn into a positive the next day after learning from the masters @thejedo, @azircon and many more now called the PRAETORIANS. I thought that 3 plot is enough for me but i ended up buying another 2 common plots via P2P and makes me a land warden or what they called "folks with five plots" although only 1 is active the rest are under construction.

I was satisfied with this but this month the market offers me a gift a price that when somebody see it, they would buy it immediately. Somebody listed a plot more than 20% cheaper than the usual market price so i just directly bought it in the market via market price. Then again just the other day the same guy @winddrake listed a rare plot more than 20% cheaper than the usual market. I'm thinking to find and approach this guy to buy it from him via P2P to have a discount by removing the market fee but the list price is what veterans called " just buy it directly in the market" . So i just bought it or else somebody buy it, this kind of gift don't last over 24 hours in the market. I was planning to buy one to make my land plot a total of 7, celebrating the 7 years @splinterland anniversary but again i ended up buying the 3 discounted rare plot at 19941.601 DEC each. I was just a little bit surprise when i check my land plots and realize my land plots are growing slowly. Now i got a total of 9 plots - 6 common plot and 3 rare plot. I didn't expected it but my land just grows slowly.

JOURNALING MY LAND PLOTS

Journaling is a one part i learned from my failed trading journey. This is to understand one day when somebody ask about ROI . It is like storing some memory as HIVE stores it for me my Splinterland land journey. So i wanted to record some info like how much i boguht it, when, to whom and what platform. And also to record the status of my land as to have my idea if it is already developed, undeveloped or under construction.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY

This are the 3 rare plots i just bougth the other day. Lucky enough that i bought it at a discounted price at 19941.601 each than the usual list price. Aside from that the land is already developed that i don't waste time developing it or burning some time crystals

As you can see above, this land plot was previously used in producing some grains and SPS. I am sure the grain producing one is in positive LPE -land plot efficiency and for the SPS producing one i am not sure. For the reason he sold it i am not sure also but my reason for buying it is this is like a gift and this is a gift to myself celebrating the 7th year anniversary of splinterlands.

MY LAND STRATEGY

As of now since i got a limited resources my land strategy focus mainly on developing the undeveloped plot as to slowly preparing it when all my resources are in place. And to prepare it when there is any land surprises coming in. Developing undeveloped land takes time and had a cost so slowly developing it while the producing ROI is low make sense to me. Currently now i got 4 plots under construction. And for the new 3 plots since it was previously developed maybe i need to experiment it to produce different items such as grain, wood, stone and iron. Also to snipe some land plot and land workers good deals when it happens as to slowly build my land as they often say " ROME IS NOT BUILT IN ONE DAY "
