My Favorite Conclave Arcana Card for the Reverse Speed Rule

A new Reward Set will be arriving in Splinterlands soon, so today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite cards from the Conclave Arcana edition (this is the edition with the new reward cards).

If you don't already know about the new Reward Set and the new rewards coming, then read the post: 🧙‍♂️ The Conclave Arcana Reward Set: A New Era of Ranked Rewards and Distribution.

We're also currently in the Halloween event in Splinterlands, and you can read the details about this event in the post: 🕯️ Hallow’s Fall: Limited-Edition Halloween Skins Descend on Splinterlands! 🎃.

Currently, my focus in Splinterlands is the Wild format because the Chaos Legion edition is my favorite in the game and also the most affordable when it comes to renting cards (this is a very nostalgic card edition for me).

In my post: My Strategy for the New Rewards on October 21st in Splinterlands, I go into detail about what I'll be doing when the new rewards are released in the game.

Now, to get into the Conclave Arcana edition mood, I'm going to talk about one of my favorite cards from this edition: Jicarilla the Rime.

Jicarilla the Rime might seem like a bad card because it has low attack, low attack speed, and a somewhat high mana cost, but it's an incredible card because of its abilities.

The abilities Jicarilla the Rime possesses are: Cleanse Reaguard, Tank Heal, Phase Ward, and Echo.

Cleanse Reaguard: This ability causes Jicarilla the Rime to clear 1 debuff from the allied monster positioned in the last position.

Tank Heal: This ability causes Jicarilla the Rime to heal the monster positioned in the first position for 1/3 of that monster's maximum health (rounded down).

Phase Ward: This ability causes Jicarilla the Rime to grant the Phase ability to the allied monster in front of it at the start of battle.

Echo: This ability causes Jicarilla the Rime to activate the Cleanse Reaguard ability and the Tank Heal ability twice per round.

Jicarilla the Rime may not be a great choice when it comes to defense or damage, but as a support, it's an incredible card, and I'm sure you won't regret having it in your battles.

One of my favorite battle rules for using Jicarilla the Rime is Reverse Speed because under this rule, Jicarilla the Rime will be one of the first cards to attack in battle and will also have a good chance to dodge attacks.

I don't yet know what the new reward cards will be in Splinterlands, but my goal will be to max out their levels and look for new battle strategies.

Even though I love playing Splinterlands, I still see the game as an investment, so I'll sell any cards I receive that I don't use on the Market and accumulate DEC for the next DEC rally, so I can make even better profits. I also want to use some of it to buy cards from other editions and improve my card collection because I'm currently renting most of the cards I use in battles.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
