The number of games built and developed on the Hive blockchain is continuously increasing while my free time is limited unfortunately.
As long as I can I will try to be an active player on all Hive-based games and hope to be able to do so in the future even if it will not be easy to do so...
Today, after 14 days, I return to write on dCrops which is an NFT-based farming game that I have been playing since May 2021.

On dCrops, time is marked by the seasons, which are 15 days long, and just under 24 hours ago the fall season began.

In this beginning of the fall season, I decided to increase the number of NFTs in my card collection by opening all the Alpha packs in my possession: 33 Alpha packs.

I made this decision after I saw the chart of CROP tokens on Hive Engine and after I looked at the market values of the Alpha edition cards and particularly the Land type cards.

The CROP token has had a good increase in value between the end of December 2022 until now, as you can see from the graph in the image below.

Having more Land-type and Seed-type NFTs will allow me to increase my agricultural production, and as my agricultural production increases, I will also increase my potential earnings in Shares points.
The Shares points will allow me to improve my ranking in the Leaderboards and allow me to receive more CROP tokens as end-of-season rewards .

Opening a pack thus allows to increase the potential gain in CROP tokens from game activity.
The only downside associated with opening a pack of cards is the decrease in Crop Power score that gives the opportunity to receive daily rewards from the Holding Rewards pool.

A pack of Alpha or Beta cards has a CROP Power score of 2000 points.
Individual cards have a much lower CROP Power score that is linked to Burn Value.
For example a legendary card has a CROP Power score of 50 points which becomes half if it is an inactive card i.e. not used during the current season.

This means that opening a pack of cards will increase the potential gain in CROP tokens but at the same time decrease the potential gain related to CROP Power.

Will my decision to open 33 Alpha packs have been a right or wrong decision?

Let's find out together...

In the following pictures you can see all the cards I found inside the 33 Alpha packs I opened today.

Each Alpha pack contains 5 cards with the guarantee of finding at least one rare or better card.

With the opening of 33 Alpha packs, I added 165 cards to my card collection.
I found:

• 26 NFT of type Land
• 139 NFT of type Seed.

In the following image you can see the graph of the value of the DCALPHA tokens that on Hive Engine represent dCrops Alpha card packs.

If I had sold my 33 Alpha packs at the price of the best purchase offer I would have gotten 272.32 SWAP.HIVE
If I could sell my 33 Alpha packs at the best sale offer price I would have gotten 319.68 SWAP.HIVE

The market value of the 165 cards I found inside the 33 Alpha packs I opened is 365.18 SWAP.HIVE.

Before opening the 33 Alpha packs I had a CROP Power of 87000 points and in the following image you can see the last daily reward I received from dCrops.

My CROP Power will decrease and I will earn less from the Holding Rewards pool but this lower earnings will gradually be offset by the greater amount of CROP tokens I will earn season after season due to the increase in my farm production.

33 pacchi Alpha aperti per aumentare la mia produzione agricola

Il numero di giochi costruiti e sviluppati sulla blockchain di Hive è in continuo aumento mentre il tempo libero a mia disposizione è limitato purtroppo.
Fin quando potrò cercherò di essere un giocatore attivo su tutti gli Hive-based games e spero di riuscirci anche in futuro anche se non sarà semplice farlo...
Oggi, dopo 14 giorni, ritorno a scrivere su dCrops che è un gioco di farming basato su NFT a cui gioco dal mese di maggio 2021.

Su dCrops il tempo è scandito dalle stagioni che hanno una durata di 15 giorni e da poco meno di 24 ore è iniziata la stagione autunnale.

In questo inizio di stagione autunnale ho deciso di aumentare il numero di NFTs della mia collezione di carte aprendo tutti i pacchi Alpha in mio possesso: 33 pacchi Alpha.

Ho preso questa decisione dopo che ho visto il grafico dei token CROP su Hive Engine e ho guardato i valori di mercato delle carte dell'edizione Alpha.

Il token CROP ha avuto un buon aumento di valore tra la fine di dicembre 2022 fino ad oggi, come puoi vedere dal grafico nell'immagine seguente.

Avere più NFTs di tipo Land e di tipo Seed mi permetterà di aumentare la produzione agricola e con l'aumento della mia produzione agricola aumenterò anche il mio potenziale guadagno in punti Shares.
I punti Shares a loro volta mi permetteranno di migliorare il mio posizionamento nella Leaderboards e mi permetteranno di ricevere un maggiore quantitativo di token CROP come ricompensa di fine stagione .

Aprire un pacco permette quindi di aumentare il potenziale guadagno in token CROP dall'attività di gioco.
L'unico aspetto negativo collegato all'apertura di un pacco di carte è la diminuzione del punteggio Crop Power che permette di ricevere ricompense giornaliere dalla pool Holding Rewards.

Un pacco di carte Alpha o Beta ha un punteggio di CROP Power di 2000 punti.
Le singole carte hanno un punteggio CROP Power molto più basso e collegato al Burn Value.
Ad esempio una carta leggendaria ha un punteggio CROP Power di 50 punti che diventa la metà se è una carta inattiva cioè non utilizzata durante la stagione in corso.
Questo vuol dire che aprire un pacco di carte aumenterà il guadagno potenziale in CROP tokens ma allo stesso tempo farà diminuire il guadagno potenziale collegato al CROP Power.

La mia decisione di aprire 33 pacchi Alpha sarà stata una decisione giusta o sbagliata?

Nelle immagini seguenti puoi vedere tutte le carte che ho trovato all'interno dei 33 pacchi Alpha che ho aperto oggi.

Ogni pacco Alpha contiene 5 carte con la garanzia di trovare in ogni pacco almeno una carta rara o migliore.

Con l'apertura di 33 pacchi Alpha ho aggiunto 165 carte alla mia collezione di carte.
Ho trovato:

• 26 NFT di tipo Land
• 139 NFT di tipo Seed

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il grafico del valore dei token DCALPHA che su Hive Engine rappresentano i pacchi di carte Alpha di dCrops.

Se avessi venduto i miei 33 Alpha packs al prezzo della migliore offerta di acquisto avrei ottenuto 272.32 SWAP.HIVE
Se riuscivo a vendere i miei 33 Alpha packs al prezzo della migliore offerta di vendita avrei ottenuto 319.68 SWAP.HIVE

Il valore di mercato delle 165 carte che ho trovato all'interno dei 33 pacchi Alpha che ho aperto è di 365.18 SWAP.HIVE.

Prima di aprire i 33 pacchi Alpha avevo un CROP Power di 87000 punti e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere l'ultima ricompensa giornaliera che ho ricevuto da dCrops.

Il mio CROP Power diminuirà e guadagnerò meno dalla pool Holding Rewards ma questo minore guadagno sarà gradualmente compensato dal quantitativo maggiore di token CROP che guadagnerò stagione dopo stagione grazie all'aumento della mia produzione agricola.
