I just wanted to share my experience battling in modern with a starrter card deck. So far I have bought around 100 packs. A third of those were bought with dec from summoners that I sold after I had leveled my deck up. I do have 1 epic card and 1 legendary card that was delegated to me due to winning a tournament. My Conclave deck is level 2 summoners, level 3 common and most rares at level 3. Rebellion in level 2 rare summoners, no epics or legendary. With 8 days left in the season I am in the top 10 of the bronze leaderboard leaderboard at Gold 3 and hoping to stay there. So far have just under 100 sps from brawls. #splinterlands #playtoearn
