Merry Christmas Lions and Bee Hives

I wasn't sure if I was going to write a Christmas style post today but figured why not! It's Christmas and I wanted to wish everyone the best day ever for the Hive and the Lions in the hive.

My plans got a little mixed this year due to family getting sick and now the weather for traveling. While I wont get to see them for Christmas it will only be a few shorts days after when I get to. It's a bit of a weird vibe spending Christmas on your own but really every day is what you make of it and there's no reason to not enjoy those types of holidays a few days after if other things don't line up.

I'm excited for what this new year is going to bring to hive. I expect a ton of movement in Q1 from many front ends of Hive however if they continue to slack off as I have seen lately I'm moving priorities around. So even though I have set goals I realize this year I need to not be so trusting and hell bent on supporting one core blockchain and platform. That didn't go well in 2022 and adjustments need to be made in 2023 in order to really move towards the goals I have.

I think that was one of the biggest wake up calls for me this year and I'm grateful for that and grateful for the opportunities it all still presents me with. It's just some times you need to step back and realize you need to be a little selfish to achieve the goals you set for yourself. Along the way however you can of course support others and work on partnerships that help them but keeping self as the core focus is something I've forgotten over the last few years. I hate saying that because it sounds like such an A hole thing to say but focusing on self and self goals is what I would say the most important thing so you can then help others and not have it harm you.

I'm not so sure about Splinterlands and how that's all going to turn out now. For sure it will have a HEAVY focus in terms of movement and what gets released during that time. The other is LEO while I want to love it 2022 came with many broken promises, delays and just overall horrible performance across the board. Q1 2023 is going to be a make it or break it for me in terms of how much time gets focused there rolling into Q2 of 2023.

With that being said expect some new goals/direction from me rolling into the new year however it will be a little delayed due to new travel plans as stated above. Wishing you all a merry Christmas!
