Splinterlands Art Contest Week 352 | Janni Rebel 🧞‍♀️✨

Very good morning my dear people of #hive, especially to all the artistic community and lover of card games, here greets you as always your friend Manuel super happy to share with you a new post for my blog.

This time I come here to bring you what would be my most recent entry for the dynamics of the current week of my dear people of #Splinterlands, the most popular card game in our platform. This time I wanted to go towards the magical characters, that's why I chose the card of (Janni Rebel), which basically are a kind of magical genies or supernatural creatures that seek to live and dwell in harmony, maintaining a balance with everything around them, this until The Empire of Chaos decided to disturb their peace, it was for this reason that many of these creatures decided to leave their homes and confront the Empire with the help of the (Rift Watchers)....I hope you like it and here I will show you a little of the process of the work:

Muy buenos días mi querida gente de #hive, especialmente a toda la comunidad artística y amante de los juegos de cartas, por aquí los saluda como siempre su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post para mi blog.

En esta oportunidad vengo por aquí para traerles lo que seria mi mas reciente entrada para la dinámica de la semana en curso de mi querida gente de #Splinterlands, el juego de cartas mas popular dentro de nuestra plataforma. Esta vez quise irme hacia los personajes mágicos, fue por eso que escogí la carta de (Janni Rebel), los cuales básicamente son una especie de genios mágicos o criaturas sobrenaturales que buscan vivir y habitar en armonía, manteniendo un equilibrio con todo lo que los rodea, esto hasta que El Imperio del Caos decidido perturbar su paz, fue por ello que muchas de estas criaturas decidieron abandonar sus hogares y enfrentar al Imperio con ayuda de los (Vigilantes de la Grieta)….espero les guste y aquí les mostrare un poco del proceso de la obra:

I decided to start my illustration with a fairly basic sketch in terms of structure, I didn't want to get too complicated with the poses, that's why I chose to draw (Janni Rebel) with a medium body structure where I could work well the details of the face, as well as the details of clothing and jewelry that the character wears. Once I had finished with the sketch I went directly to the coloring process, in this case I decided to use a palette of colors a little warmer with brown and orange tones to achieve a fairly tanned skin; I made about 2 or 3 layers of strokes before merging them all and begin to blur and soften to get a good skin effect that looked quite realistic.

Decidí empezar mi ilustración con un boceto bastante básico en cuento a estructura, no quise complicarme mucho con las poses, es por ello que opté por dibujar a (Janni Rebel) con una estructura de cuerpo medio donde pudiera trabajar bien los detalles del rostro, así como también los detalles de ropa y joyería que lleva el personaje. Una vez había culminado con el boceto me pase directamente al proceso de coloreado, en este caso decidí usar una paleta de colores un tanto más cálido con tonos marrones y naranjas para lograr una piel bastante bronceada; realice unas 2 o 3 capas de trazos antes de fusionarlas todas y comenzar a difuminar y suavizara para así conseguir un buen efecto de piel que se viera bastante realista.

When I finished with the skin I moved on to the eyes, in this case I used a palette of violet and purple colors to give (Janni Rebel), some pretty striking and intense eyes, here I also wanted to complement with glitter and some details of tattoos on the chin and under the eyelids. For the clothing section I took my time because I wanted to detail very well each garment and accessory of the character, first I took some blue tones and began to form a kind of rigid suit like armor for the torso and waist, then with lighter and lighter blue tones I was giving better metallic details and glitter to the whole suit; then with yellow and orange tones I created a kind of golden lines on the edges of the chest and waist.

Al terminar con la piel me pase al trabajo de los ojos, en este caso use una paleta de colores violeta y morado para darle a (Janni Rebel), unos ojos bastante llamativos e intensos, aquí también quise complementar con brillos y algunos detalles de tatuajes en el mentón y debajo de los parpados. Para el apartado de la ropa me tome mi tiempo ya que quería detallar muy bien cada prenda y accesorio del personaje, primero tome algunos tonos azules y comencé a formar una especie de traje rígido como de armadura para el torso y la cintura, luego con tonos azules cada vez mas claros fui dando mejores detalles metálicos y brillos a todo el traje; luego con tonos amarillos y naranjas cree una especie de líneas doradas en los bordes del pecho y la cintura.

As complementary accessories I took again yellow and orange tones to create a kind of tiara or crown of gold on her head, as well as some gold rings and rings on her arms. To represent the magical powers of (Janni Rebel) I came up with the idea of creating around her hand a kind of aura or magical energy in the form of a tornado, this was easy with my noise brush that I use to texture sea water and other things. Finally, with my cloud brush I created a dense layer of smoke or magic mist around the character and illuminated everything from front to back as if the character was among a bunch of clouds in the sky.

Como accesorios complementarios tome nuevamente nos tonos amarillos y naranjas para crear una especie de tiara o corona de oro sobre su cabeza, así como también algunos anillos y argollas de oro en los brazos. Para representar los poderes mágicos de (Janni Rebel) se me ocurrió crear alrededor de su mano una especie de aura o energía mágica en forma de tornado, esto fue fácil con mi pincel de ruido que uso para texturizar agua de mar y otras cosas. Finalmente, con mi pincel de nubes cree una densa capa de humo o neblina mágica alrededor del personaje e ilumine todo de adelante hacia atrás como se el personaje estuviese entre un montón de nubes en el cielo.
