I'm genuinely smart to have taken part once again in the Splinterlands Art Contest – Week 341! A heartfelt thank you to the incredible artists in the Splinterlands community and to the amazing team behind the platform for giving us a space to express and share our creativity.

For this week's submission, I decided to illustrate the Pyrewatch Devil card, reimagining it through my own artistic lens. My goal was to give the character a new vibe while still honoring the spirit of the original design.

Pyrewatch devils are drawn to the fire element in all its forms, whether heat, dryness, intense passion, or fire itself. They are fueled by their emotions, which manifest in the most intense way possible. Happiness becomes euphoria. Anger becomes rage. Desire becomes a burning, passionate need.

The more intense their emotion, the brighter their flames shine, shifting from a low-burning red and orange to a bright blue at the height of ardor. The burning heart of the pyrewatch is more than magic; it is simply the natural course of life itself.
Claws lit with blue flame, the pyrewatch devil hurled a fireball at the soldier. It exploded into him, and he flew into the air and landed with a heavy thud, his charred form smoldering. With a furious screech, the devil arched its back, head to the sky, and pounded its chest in anger.

Another soldier rushed the demon, swinging her maul overhand at its head. The pyrewatch devil leapt back, and the maul slammed into the earth at its feet. The demon howled, and the flames on its body grew brighter and more fierce. It flung another fireblast, and the soldier screamed in agony as she burst into flames.

More howls and screams filled the night like the roar of a great bonfire. Blue flames lit the camp of the enemy soldiers. Their screams of burning terror echoed in the dark.
