Tower Griffin fan art

Hello~~~ So I'm back to my drawing things because I wanted to take part in the splinterlands weekly art contest again plus i have the need to draw. it helps me cope with things happening in my life lately.
Anyway, I did the tower griffin again 😅😅 I think I like the card way too much but also because I love griffins in general but I am definitely not a griffindor

So I'm just back to sketches because I dunno where my hands are at again but I do know that I feel a little out of practice so it's always best to go back to the basics and this is my basics 🥹

So for my progression:

Here is my very very messy rough sketch. I was hoping I would be doing a full body griffin with the legs and all and maybe a bit of background when i started this 🤣

At some point, I couldn't figure out how to draw the feet and claws soooo I just cropped it. It saves me the time tho 🤣 so that's good enough for me

at this point, I was already detailing with the dark gray and black and I was actually impressed with where my skills are at ^^ it was nice seeing it still be this detailed

Then this is where I stopped ^^ when I finished highlighting everything OwO I think it came out pretty nice like this and it has been a while since I made anything pretty detailed so I'm happy with this. it reflects my gray mood lately

And that is all from me for now. I dunno if i can do the soc med challenge yet because i deactivated my instagram for a soc med detox for my poor anxiety. But I'll still drsw either way. And hopefully I can draw lots and lots this weekend! Happy Thursday everyone! May your friday be chill af!
