I'D KEEPING EATING FISH, DO NOT TOUCH MY BRAIN

There has been all kinds of medical research and implementation in recent years. Medical research has greatly improved to the extent that what seems to be impossible is now in our Beck and call. I have heard of minor surgeries where abnormal growths on human skin have been taken away with medical light technology.

The issue of implantation into the human neural system is a no go area for me. I have read some international journals where the resultant effects of implanting such micro chips into the human brain is enormous. In the early 2000s, one of my pastors who was a lecturer at the University of Lagos went to Australia for an international conference. At the airport, she returned back to Nigeria because she refused to accept an implant on her forehead which has become a norm in part of the western nations.

Personally, I have discovered that there are consequences in the process of the medical implantation and would not subscribe to it. I would rather live my life the natural way. Since humans can never be perfect, of what essence would it be to add to nature's gift for my life.

Also, I have been informed through the journal that humans can improve their memory by eating a high quantity of protein diet which can be found in fish, meat, egg and veggies. Sticking to.my diet plan is better than putting an electronic device into my brain. That could make me half human, you know.

Through the implantation of the chip, my privacy may be invaded and my freedom hijacked. There are records that most of the chips come with trackers that would help the scientist monitor the vessels that carry the chips. I don't want to become a guinea pig for whatever reason. This would make me live within my means rather than depend on a chip to boost my memory.

The process of implanting a chip is not 100% safe. A patient is at the risk of infection, bleeding and damage to surrounding brain tissue. When it comes to the brain, we better be careful not to give it to the hands of humans, whether medical professionals who are most likely to make costly mistakes.

Once it is open to others, a person who has an implant in any part of the body could be stigmatized. I don't want to live with people stigmatizing me for one defect or the other. In Africa where the human brain is considered the glory of a man, touching it and implanting a chip could be termed madness. It could become worse if someone begins to behave in some particular ways, he would be considered a lunatic since the brain had been touched.

One could become a security threat to his surroundings when his memory is aided by an electronic device, something I don't want to become to family or to humanity.

Do you know that once you accept that implantation of such a device, you would become a target for hackers. Kidnappers may also begin to plan how to abduct you for ransome and to get the information that is needed.

As I am, I don't need anyone or anything to think on my behalf. Whatever level of memory I am able to display is my capacity level. Once it is increased or reduced, it could make me hyperactive or dense. So I would remain like this and enjoy every moment of it.

The earlier we understand this, the better for whoever is thinking of accepting an implant.

You know, you are right.
It could be a fatal surgery and the patient may have to pay the highest price.
