Social Media and Politician's Secrets

Social media is the platform where things are being revealed. Things related to the politicians and their means of dealing in the society. People's thoughts are always different, but then the true colors of the politicians involved are always open on the social media platforms.

Going by the look of things, it has happened before now and is even going to happen after the present. Everyone has one cockroach or the other in his or her cupboard, but that of the politicians is always kept in secret, just for rainy days. Most people always keep facts intact just in case of tomorrow. These facts can be of great use in the future.

I would rather not mention names, but it has happened to a politician whose profile and past were dug up. It happened that he was a victim of dropout. He never attended a university but still kept saying he attended the university. The general populace got to know about this through the social media platforms. News and different evidence were published to the public, but then this politician had to find his way out of the predicament.

Sporadically, we need to be careful of what we say, as it may be used against us, especially in the politicians' case.

Social media can give you the best one to choose to represent your clan or government. Sometimes, most people speak ill of the politicians when they have beefing among themselves. They can cook up stories that never happened, while some can bring out the facts related to such politicians.

Politics is just a game, and we all just have to keep to the game and leave the rest for the politicians to deal with.

There was a group I found myself on WhatsApp. This group is all about a particular political party. I do not belong to that party, but then I have to join and see what they are discussing. Most of them were saying the best of the president representing that party. Some were also saying negative words about the same person. To some extent, the discussion turned out to be a fight in the group. I had to watch the way they were talking among themselves, abusing themselves to the last level.

Most members in the group were in different parties and were just the ones causing menace among themselves. After some time, the group was calm, but when the one they were supporting started misbehaving, the oppositions came up again. This caused another fight, but this time, they all agreed that their main man in position was not doing fine. At least they accepted defeat.

So, social media is a means of speaking the truth about the politicians.

Many politicians do not love to disclose their children's identities. They do not want people to know much about their families. They are those kinds of people who would end up having some bedbugs in their beds. These people would, one way or the other, get exposed through social media no matter what. I got this idea from someone I knew so well in my domain. He told his children categorically that they must not be found on the social media platforms and their images must not be taken even in their schools. This is to keep their identities. But one day, the daughter mistakenly showed up on the social media platform. He saw it and immediately called her to terminate that account with immediate effect.

So, most of them love hiding their identities, but with social media, their identities would be revealed, most especially through their enemies or oppositions.
