In the dynamic world of Moon Karts, two features—Auto Vault and Academy—stand out as clever mechanisms that bridge strategic asset management with long-term rewards. Whether you're a competitive racer or a collector, understanding these systems is key to maximizing both racing potential and passive earnings.

Auto Vault: Staking Cards for Fuel

Fuel is essential for diving into multiplayer races, and the Auto Vault offers a smart way to generate it passively. To fuel your racing sessions, you can stake unused cards in the Vault. Every card contributes differently to fuel production—rarity and card type directly impact the rate. The more powerful and rare the card, the higher its fuel output.

Key mechanics include:

  • Minimum staking duration and cooldowns: Withdraw staked cards early, and you’ll trigger cooldown periods before they can be used again on track.

  • Scripts token requirement & Vault upgrades: You'll need to stake at least 10 SCRIPT tokens for each additional card slot—LINKED to Arcade Colony’s ecosystem. Over time, you can increase your Vault’s capacity by investing further SCRIPT and COLONY tokens.

  • Fuel management: Fuel storage is finite—any excess generated beyond capacity is lost. So, balancing staking, races, and storage upgrades is essential. Higher-tier cards yield more fuel but also consume more when racing, making thoughtful card selection and upgrades vital.

Academy: Earning Airdrops Through Engagement

Set to launch soon, the Academy mirrors the Auto Vault’s staking model but swaps fuel for Airdrop Points. Stake your cards to accumulate non-transferable points, which determine not only the type but also the frequency of card airdrops—including drivers, boosters, and car parts. When you claim an airdrop, your Airdrop Points get deducted, reinforcing a system of reward and ongoing engagement.
