Finally Achieving My 60,000 SPS Goal - How to Stake SPS - Why Do I Stake SPS and What are the Benefits? | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge

Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day. Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will talk about how to stake SPS, why I stake SPS, its benefits and my SPS goal. I hope it will be useful for you.

Why Do I Stake SPS and What are the Benefits?

Splintershards (SPS) is the official governance token for Splinterlands and has been integrated into the Splinterlands game in order toprovide increased decision-making and control over the product to the player base, asset owners, and other stakeholders. Staked SPS is necessary for all Splinterlands players who want to earn rewards and fully participate in the ecosystem, I am both a player and an investor in Splinterlands, which is why I am staking SPS and I would like to increase my SPS in the Stake even more. Detailed information on how to get SPS and what it can be used for can be found in the Splinterlands support guide, I won't repeat the same things here, you can find detailed information here. The official Splinterlands support guides are really great and both detailed and educational, and they guide us on many topics related to the game. There are many benefits to staking Splinterlands, the most important of which is that we must stake SPS to accumulate and earn rewards. The more SPS we have in Stake, the more rewards we can earn. Let's take a look at some of them.

The more SPS you have in Stake, the more rewards you earn from ranked battles. Also, if you have SPS in Stake you earn SPS and Vouchers as rewards and you can claim your staking rewards at any time, we don't even need to play to earn Stake rewards, just have SPS in Stake. I earn SPS from Ranked Battles, Brawl, Tournaments, Staking rewards, I also buy SPS from the market and stake almost all of them regularly. I pay a lot of attention to increasing my SPS in Stake because the more SPS I have in Stake, the more rewards I earn. To earn SPS, I recommend you to enter ranked battles, participate in Brawls and tournaments and consider staking SPS. I claim my SPS rewards from ranked battles and Stake almost every day. Also, I earned 105 SPS from the last tournament and 36.673 staked SPS from the last Brawl. As you can see, there are many ways to earn SPS in Splinterlands.

Here is the Gauntlet Wild Novice Invitational tournament that ended today and I earned 105 SP;

If I played more carefully, I would have ranked higher, but even being 22nd is great, and most importantly, earning SPS is very cool.

How to Claim Rewards

Go to the SPS management screen by clicking on the SPS icon next to your username on the top of your screen.

And Claim all your rewards by clicking Claim All.

there are three Claim buttons;

  • Staking Rewards go to your liquid SPS balance. (no the claim cooldown - you can claim it whenever you want)
  • Battle, Brawls, Soulkeep Rewards, and Land rewards go directly to your staked balance. (claim cooldown is 24 hours)
  • Rewards Waiting in Soulkeep

I claim all my rewards almost every day. I claimed them all in the morning and now I will claim my staking rewards once again. Claiming your rewards is that easy.

How to Stake SPS

Go to the SPS management screen by clicking on the SPS icon next to your username on the top of your screen.

On the SPS management screen you will see the total amount of liquid SPS in your account.

  • In - Game (LIQUID) : this is the amount of SPS that is not currently staked, which means it is spendable and transferrable.
  • Staked : The total amount of SPS you have in stake.

Click the Stake button to stake SPS

I currently have 533 SPS in my account and I will stake them all.

I just staked 533 SPS, that's how easy it is to stake SPS.

And now I have 60,103 SPS in Stake. And I've just managed to reach both my 60,000 goal and the milestone. And I wanted to share my excitement and happiness with you, but I will not stop, I will continue to stake SPS and my new goal is to reach 70,000 staked SPS in July, and my 2025 goal is to reach 100,000 staked SPS, but I want to do more now because I am much more optimistic about SPS.

In short, the easiest way to earn more rewards is to stake more SPS.

By the way, if you want, you can rent out your staked SPS, I think it's an extra income especially for those who don't actively play, I actively play Splinterlands so I don't rent my staked SPS. Also, you can rent SPS if you want, there are really many options in Splinterlands.

Additionally, we can earn COLONY by staking GLX and SPS rewards."The Arcade Colony Governance Token, known as COLONY, serve as the staking, reward, and governance token within the Arcade Colony Governance (ACG) ecosystem. All games that are listed on the Arcade Colony directory need to accept COLONY tokens as a form of payment." Click to learn more about COLONY token.

Splinterlands is a really amazing game and I really enjoy playing it, I can say that I play it almost every day when I have the opportunity, I wish I had the chance to play it more, I love this game so much.

If you have any questions about #Splinterlands or anything else please feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer them.
