Results, Considerations, and My Next Steps
On Splinterlands, in Ranked Play the season 159 ended a few days ago, which was the first season in which the Arcana Conclave cards entered the game.
Right now, season 160 is underway and will end in 11 days and about 22 hours.
Before the release of the Arcana Conclave card set I was playing with two accounts in the Modern Format.
In the next two images you can see the financial results of my dual playing in Modern Format in season 158, which was the last season I played with two accounts in Modern Format.

After the release of the new set of cards I decided to change strategy and in season 159 I played:
- in the Modern Format with @libertycrypto27 (my main account) -> Cards
- in the Wild Format with @libertygame27 (my curation account for SPT tokens) -> Cards
The Modern Format is always my favorite format because there are no bots and I can enjoy playing against human people like me.
The Wild Format is the realm of bots and battle helpers and that is why I chose not to play manually but to use XBOT.
In this post I share my results, evaluations and thoughts on my first season played in Wild Format after the release of the Arcana Conclave set.
In season 159 of Wild Format I used my curation account for SPT tokens, @libertygame27, to which:
- I delegated a card collection consisting of 174 cards = 18698 BCX = 449225 CP.
- I delegated 50K SPS.
The game results of this test of mine in the Wild Format were very positive because libertygame27 started from the Gold I league and finished the season in the Champion III league.
With 445 battles played and 233 wins I earned a total of 317.67 SPS and also received a good amount of GLINT.
But 317.67 SPS is not my net gain because XBOT takes 20%.
My net gain in SPS in season 159 was 254.13 SPS = $2.41
I consider this financial result less positive than the game results but it is a good result also because using XBOT I invested 0 time.
In the current season the WILD Pass was reactivated which, in the Wild Format, is a seasonal recurring cost of 2000 DEC.
I decided to buy the Wild Pass to do a second season of testing in the Wild Format because 254.13 SPS are worth more than the cost of the Wild Pass and therefore I can completely cover the cost of the Wild Pass for season 160 with the rewards I received in season 159.
Based on the results I will achieve in season 160 I will evaluate whether to continue playing in season 161 in the Wild Format as well or whether to consider other options such as renting my cards or playing only in Survival Mode when it is reactivated.
Thanks to the GLINTs I received in season 159 in the Wild Format, I was able to make purchases in the Glint Shop.
Today I spent 142500 GLINT to purchase:
- 400 Common Draw
- 100 Rare Draw
- 1 Epic Draw

I have almost completed the upgrade of the Rebellion Reward common cards because I only have two cards left to take to the maximum level.

I end this post by showing my last two battles won, my last battle won in Modern Format and my last battle won in Wild Format to show the difference in SPS gain in different leagues and with different amount of SPS staked.
In the next image you can see my last battle I won playing manually with @libertycrypto27 in the Modern Format in the Diamond II league with a SPS boost x8.19 (87K SPS staked)
In the next image you can see my last battle I won playing with @libertygame27 in the Wild Format in the Champion III league using XBOT and with a SPS boost x2.89 (53.5K SPS staked including 50K SPS staked received in delegation from my main account)

In questo momento è in corso la stagione 160 che terminerà tra 11 giorni e circa 22 ore.
Prima del rilascio del set di carte Conclave Arcana giocavo con due accounts nel Modern Format.

Dopo il rilascio del nuovo set di carte ho deciso di cambiare strategia e nella stagione 159 ho giocato:
- nel Modern Format con @libertycrypto27 (il mio account principale) -> Cards
- nel Wild Format con @libertygame27 (il mio curation account per i token SPT) -> Cards
Il Modern Format è sempre il mio formato preferito perchè non ci sono i bots e posso divertirmi a giocare contro persone umane come me.
Il Wild Format è il regno dei bots e dei battle helpers e per questo motivo ho scelto di non giocare manualmente ma di utilizzare XBOT.
In questo post condivido i miei risultati, le mie valutazioni e le mie considerazioni sulla mia prima stagione giocata nel Wild Format dopo il rilascio del set Conclave Arcana.
Nella stagione 159 del Wild Format ho utilizzato il mio curation account per i token SPT, @libertygame27, a cui:
- ho delegato una collezione di carte composta da 174 carte = 18698 BCX = 449225 CP.
- ho delegato 50K SPS.
I risultati di gioco di questo mio test nel Wild Format sono stati molto positivi perchè libertygame27 è partito dalla lega Gold I e ha terminato la stagione in lega Champion III.
Con 445 battaglie giocate e 233 vittorie ho guadagnato in totale 317.67 SPS e ho ricevuto anche un buon quantitativo di GLINT.
Ma 317.67 SPS non è il mio guadagno netto perchè XBOT si prende il 20%.
Il mio guadagno netto in SPS nella stagione 159 è stato di 254.13 SPS = 2.41$
Considero questo risultato finanziario un buon risultato anche perchè usando XBOT ho investito 0 tempo.
Nella stagione in corso è stato riattivato il WILD Pass che, nel Wild Format, è un costo ricorrente stagionale di 2000 DEC.
Ho deciso di acquistare il Wild Pass per fare una seconda stagione di test nel Wild Format perchè 254.13 SPS hanno un valore superiore al costo del Wild Pass e quindi posso coprire completamente il costo del Wild Pass per la stagione 160 con le ricompense che ho ricevuto nella stagione 159.
In base ai risultati che otterrò nella stagione 160 valuterò se continuare a giocare anche nella stagione 161 nel Wild Format oppure se valutare altre opzioni come il noleggio delle mie carte oppure giocare solo nel Survival Mode quando sarà riattivato.
Grazie ai GLINT che ho ricevuto nella stagione 159 nel Wild Format ho potuto fare degli acquisti nel Glint Shop.
Oggi ho speso 142500 GLINT per acquistare:

I didn't know the tool to know how much progress you have made in upgrading the cards in the Rebellion set, it looks great. Lately I'm playing in the Wild format and I was wondering about the cost of the Xbot (as I read in your post it takes 20% of what you get, but I don't know if it has an additional cost).

To use XBOT, it is necessary to purchase an hive engine token and then it is necessary to set XBOT as the recipient of rewards in SPS.
The percentage to be given to xbot depends on the token purchased.

C'è sempre qualcosa da imparare leggendo i tuoi articoli @libertycrypto27.
Ad esempio ho scoperto ora che il Survival Mode era stato disattivato. Avevo notato che non mi sembrava di vedere più carte bloccate fra quelle che noleggiavo ma non gli avevo prestato attenzione e non avevo approfondito. Ora ho scoperto che la mia impressione era esatta. Si sa se e quando verrà riattivato? C'è da dire che per i noleggi è una modalità molto utile: rende noleggiabili anche le carte di livello basso che altrimenti non hanno mercato.

No ancora non si sa quando verrà riattivata ma il progetto è di riattivare il Survival Mode con alcune modifiche e miglioramenti

Thanks for the update. It's a shame really, only to get some soulbound cards or I wouldn't run even with a bot in wild. The new set is priced for whales only.
In my opinion, it is necessary to find a solution for the current rotation mechanism because the Wild Pass and bots in the Wild Format will drive away so many human players...
Except for a few brawls, I haven't played since rotation which is a shame.

Splinterlands' ability to change and add features is one of its strengths even though there are aspects to improve and some choices that were not popular such as the Wild Pass

Hai perfettamente ragione il guadagno è quasi 0 e per questo motivo farò al massimo altre due stagioni di test ma se i risultati saranno come quelli che ho condiviso in questo post cambierò strategia preferendo il noleggio o il Survival Mode quando sarà riattivato.
Ho più volte criticato l'abbinamento bots - wild pass che allontana i giocatori secondo me ma sembra che questa mia opinione non sia condivisa da tutti...

Si ma credo che il wild pass non lo toglieranno mai nemmeno per i giocatori manuali e il motivo è semplice, più giocatori vincono partite e più la torta della reward pool va divisa quindi meno guadagni per le whale che decidono il destino delle proposal...
Non credo che sia proprio questa la chiave di lettura secondo me piuttosto è stata fatta questa scelta per rimuovere e limitare le bot farms e ha funzionato ma solo per le bot farms ma è stata una scelta pessima secondo me perchè ha colpito anche i giocatori umani che andrebbero sempre messi al primo posto.
Ci vorrebbe una lega wild solo per gli umani e una lega separata per chi vuole usare i bots.
Ad esempio io ho smesso di acquistare tante carte come facevo un tempo proprio per effetto di questo meccanismo di rotazione abbinato alla presenza dei bots nel wild format. Se non posso usare una mia carta per divertirmi con giocatori umani come me ci penserò 1000 volte prima di acquistarla perchè so che dopo due rotazioni sarà fuori dal Modern...diverso sarebbe se ci fosse un wild senza bots e wild pass...
Si infatti appena hanno messo il wild pass ho smesso di comprare carte, pacchi ecc anch'io, solo tofu per speculazione visto che sapevo saliva alla rotazione dei set
O wow you came out ahead last season including paying the 2k DEC for this season. I would guess this season will be better since the amount of people running bots is likely decreased due to the 2k DEC cost. I am curious to see how the rewards compare as you progress through the ranks in wild. !HOPE to see you come out ahead again.
