The topic of my post today is BANG! Defense which is a game built and developed on the Hive blockchain.
BANG! Defense is a Tower Defense Game that is fun, simple and immediate to play.
The creator and developer of the game is @choof (creator) and the @hashkings team also collaborated on the development of the game.

BANG! Defense is in the Closed Beta stage of development, has been playable since June 10, 2022, and is a Skill Game Play to Earn because from the game activity it is possible to earn as rewards BUDS tokens, which are second-level tokens from the Hive blockchain.

The development team of !BANG Defense is working on the release of the Open Beta version that will bring improvements to the game.
With the release of the Open Beta version it will be possible to use more NFTs and it will be possible to open all types of Crates (General, Weapon and Tower).
Currently, only Weapon NFTs can be used and only Weapon Crates can be opened.
In addition, when BANG! Defense will enter the Open Beta phase the opening of Crates will be easier and automated but now it is a task that requires additional steps and for this reason I decided to write a short guide to show all the steps to follow to open a Weapon Crates with the intent to help those who asked me how to do it on Discord and at the same time to help those of my readers who have a Weapon Crate and have not opened it yet.

How to Open a Weapon Crate in the Closed Beta Phase

- Step by Step Guide -

On the first day of the BETA presale of BANG! Defense I purchased a leggendary pack and spent 103.30 SWAP.HIVE.

Thanks to this purchase I received several tokens and several NFTs including a Legendary Beta Blaster, 21 Weapon Crates and 21 Keys that I can use already now.

Today I opened my first Weapon Crate NFT and performed the following steps to do so.

Step 1: Transfer the NFTs of type Weapon Crate to @hk-bang.

All NFTs from BANG! Defense are viewable from https://nftm.art/inventory/bguns

After you login to https://nftm.art/:

• you need to click on Bang! Defense (arrow number 1 next image).
• then you need to click on My Cards (arrow number 2 next image).

On the next screen:

• you need to click on the Weapon Crate image** (arrow number 1 next image) which will move from the Available Cards section to the Cart section.
  If you have multiple NFTs of Weapon Crate type you can click multiple times to make a multiple transfer.
• Then you need to click on the Transfer button indicated by arrow number 2 in the following image.

On the next screen you must:

• type hk-bang within the Send 1 NFTs To field: (arrow number 1 next image)
• then you have to click on the button indicated by arrow number 2 in the following image

To complete the transfer you must click on Confirm within the Hive Keychain screen.

Step 2: Transfer the GCK key to @hk-bang.

In order to open a Weapon Crate, an appropriate key is required, which is represented by a second-level token on the Hive blockchain: the GCK token.
The GCK token like all second-level tokens of the Hive blockchain can be bought, sold or transferred from the Wallet section of one of Hive's second-level token marketplaces such as Hive Engine, TribalDex, LeoDex, ...

To write this guide, I chose to use Hive Engine.

To transfer the GCK token to the @hk-bang account:

• you need to Login to Hive Engine.

• then you need to click on Wallet (arrow number 1 next image)
• then you need to search for the GCK token (arrow number 2 next image)
• then you need to click on the Transfer button (arrow number 3 next image)

On the next screen:

• you have to enter hk-bang in the To field (arrow number 1 next image)
• then you need to enter the amount of GCK token you want to transfer in the Quantity field (arrow number 2 next image)
• then you need to click on the Transfer button (arrow number 3 next image)
• then you need to click on Confirm within the Hive KeyChain screen.

Step 3: Opening the Weapon Crate.

To open a Weapon Crate you must go to https://bangdefense.net/home/crate/weapons/ and click on Open.

A dialog box will open where you will discover which NFT you have found.

Opening Weapon Crates is a feature that is still in the testing phase, and if you happen to see the following screen instead of the previous one you may not be able to open your crate.

The solution to this problem is very simple, however:

• you have to go to the [Dashboard]((https://bangdefense.net/home/Dashboard.html) section of !BANG Defense and you have to log in even if you are already logged in ;)

Final Considerations

Today I opened 21 Weapon Crates and found the following NFTs:

• 3 STEN2K (SMG Common)
• 3 STEN2K (SMG Rare)
• 3 Pacifica (SMG Common)
• 3 Pacifica (SMG Rare)
• 1 Pacifica (SMG Epic)
• 4 Hitman (Pistol Common)
• 4 Diplomat (Pistol Rare)

I did not find any legendary NFTs but I did find one Epic NFT: Pacifica - SMG Epic.

Before opening the 21 Weapon Crates I had a Collection Power of 150 points while now I have a Collection Power of 468.5 points

I have more than tripled my Collection Power and this increase in score will allow me to increase my game rewards as well because the final score of each game is directly proportionally affected by the Collection Power score.

Changes to the game were also introduced today.
The game area is larger than before and two new enhancement options that can be used during the course of a game play have been introduced: HEALTH and SHIELD.

!BANG Defense is a game that belongs to the category of games that I call "take your thoughts away" because it is fun and immediate to play.
In my next post on !BANG Defense I will focus on the most convenient buying cases and possible optimizations of my NFT collection (selling and buying NFTs).

Il team di sviluppo di !BANG Defense sta lavorando al rilascio della versione Open Beta che apporterà miglioramenti al gioco.
Con il rilascio della versione Open Beta sarà possibile utilizzare un numero maggiore di NFT e sarà possibile aprire tutti i tipi di Crates (General, Weapon e Tower).
Al momento è possibile utilizzare solo gli NFT Beta Blaster ed è possibile aprire solo i Weapon Crates.
Inoltre quando BANG! Defense entrerà nella fase Open Beta l'apertura dei Crates sarà più semplice ed automatizzata ma adesso è un'operazione che richiede dei passaggi aggiuntivi e per questo motivo ho deciso di scrivere una breve guida per mostrare tutti i passi da seguire per aprire un Weapon Crates con l'intento di aiutare chi mi ha chiesto come fare su Discord e allo stesso tempo per aiutare chi dei miei lettori ha un Weapon Crate e non lo ha ancora aperto.

Come Aprire un Weapon Crate nella fase Closed Beta

- Guida Passo Passo -

Il primo giorno della BETA presale di BANG! Defense ho acquistato un leggendary pack e ho speso 103.30 SWAP.HIVE.

Grazie a questo acquisto ho ricevuto diversi tokens e diversi NFT tra cui una Legendary Beta Blaster, 21 Weapon Crates e 21 Keys che posso utilizzare già adesso.

Oggi ho aperto il mio primo Weapon Crate NFT e per farlo ho eseguito i seguenti passi.

Passo 1: Trasferire gli NFTs di tipo Weapon Crate a @hk-bang

Tutti gli NFT di BANG! Defense sono visualizzabili da https://nftm.art/inventory/bguns

Dopo che hai effettuato il login su https://nftm.art/:

• devi cliccare su Bang! Defense (freccia numero 1 immagine seguente)
• poi devi cliccare su My Cards (freccia numero 2 immagine seguente)

Nella schermata successiva:

• devi cliccare sull'immagine del Weapon Crate (freccia numero 1 immagine seguente) che si sposterà dalla sezione Available Cards alla sezione Cart.
  Se hai più NFT di tipo Weapon Crate puoi cliccare più volte per effettuare un trasferimento multiplo.
• poi devi cliccare sul bottone Transfer indicato dalla freccia numero 2 nell'immagine seguente.

Nella schermata successiva devi:

• scrivere hk-bang all'interno del campo Send 1 NFTs To: (freccia numero 1 immagine seguente)
• poi devi cliccare sul bottone indicato dalla freccia numero 2 nell'immagine seguente

Per completare il trasferimento devi cliccare su Confirm all'interno della schermata di Hive Keychain.

Passo 2: Trasferire la chiave GCK a @hk-bang

Per aprire un Weapon Crate è necessaria una chiave opportuna che è rappresentata da un token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive: il token GCK.
Il token GCK come tutti i token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive può essere acquistato, venduto o trasferito dalla sezione Wallet di uno dei mercati dei token di secondo livello di Hive come Hive Engine, TribalDex, LeoDex, ...

Per scrivere questa guida ho scelto di utilizzare Hive Engine.

Per trasferire il token GCK all'account @hk-bang:

• devi effettuare il Login su Hive Engine

• poi devi cliccare su Wallet (freccia numero 1 immagine seguente)
• poi devi cercare il token GCK (freccia numero 2 immagine seguente)
• poi devi cliccare sul bottone Transfer (freccia numero 3 immagine seguente)

Nella schermata successiva:

• devi inserire hk-bang nel campo To (freccia numero 1 immagine seguente)
• poi devi inserire la quantità di token GCK che vuoi trasferire nel campo Quantity (freccia numero 2 immagine seguente)
• poi devi cliccare sul bottone Transfer (freccia numero 3 immagine seguente)
• poi devi cliccare su Confirm all'interno della schermata di Hive KeyChain

Passo 3: Apertura del Weapon Crate

Per aprire un Weapon Crate devi andare su https://bangdefense.net/home/crate/weapons/ e cliccare su Open.

Si aprirà una finestra di dialogo in cui scoprirai quale NFT hai trovato.

L'apertura dei Weapon Crates è una funzionalità ancora in fase di test e se ti capiterà di visualizzare la seguente schermata invece della precedente potresti non riuscire ad aprire il tuo crate.

La soluzione a questo problema è però molto semplice:

• devi andare nella sezione [Dashboard]((https://bangdefense.net/home/Dashboard.html) di !BANG Defense e devi effettuare l'operazione di login anche se sei già loggato ;)

Considerazioni Finali

Oggi ho aperto 21 Weapon Crates e ho trovato i seguenti NFTs:

• 3 STEN2K (SMG Common)
• 3 STEN2K (SMG Rare)
• 3 Pacifica (SMG Common)
• 3 Pacifica (SMG Rare)
• 1 Pacifica (SMG Epic)
• 4 Hitman (Pistol Common)
• 4 Diplomat (Pistol Rare)

Non ho trovato nessun NFT leggendario ma ho trovato un NFT Epico: Pacifica - SMG Epic.

Prima di aprire i 21 Weapon Crates avevo un Collection Power di 150 punti mentre adesso ho un Collection Power di 468.5 punti

Ho più che triplicato il mio Collection Power e questo incremento di punteggio mi permetterà di incrementare anche le ricompense di gioco perchè il punteggio finale di ogni partita è influenzato in modo direttamente proporzionale dal punteggio di Collection Power.

Oggi sono state introdotte anche delle modifiche al gioco.
L'area di gioco è più ampia rispetto a prima e sono stati introdotte due nuove possibilità di potenziamento utilizzabili durante lo svolgimento di una partita di gioco: HEALTH e SHIELD.

!BANG Defense è un gioco che appartiene alla categoria di giochi che io definisco "scaccia pensieri" perchè è divertente e immediato da giocare.
Nel mio prossimo post su !BANG Defense mi focalizzerò sui casi d'acquisto più convenienti e su possibili ottimizzazioni della mia collezione di NFT (vendita e acquisto di NFT).
