Moon Karts: My first Centauri pack (Eng/Ita)

Anyone familiar with the world of blockchain Play2Earn platforms knows the golden rule: the earlier you join, the better your chances. That’s exactly what happened with Moon Karts, where I missed out on the initial sale of the much sought-after Centauri packs. They’re completely sold out, no longer available on the website, unlike the Lady Luck packs, those from Stakehouse Den, which are still up for grabs.

Luckily, as often happens in the Hive ecosystem, there’s still hope: several packs are still being sold by other users on Hive Engine. So not all is lost, and now I’ll tell you how I’m catching up.

On Hive Engine, I made a purchase offer of 10 Hive, about 4 Hive less than the lowest sell offer, which was around 14 Hive.

Thanks to @tengolotodo for accepting my offer, I was able to take home my first Centauri pack.

Until now, all the cards I owned were bought directly from the in-game market, often by trial and error, trying to figure things out, but buying packs is a way to collect many cards at once, and if luck is on your side, maybe even land a legendary or gold card that could make your day.

The transfer process of the Centauri pack from Hive Engine can be a bit confusing at first, but once you understand it, it’s quite easy: go to My Assets, click on Centauri Packs, then select Transfer, and in the next screen choose Hive Engine from the dropdown menu, enter the number of Centauri packs you want to move, and click Transfer In.

Open the Moon Karts game and click on My Packs, if everything went correctly, you should see your packs ready to be opened.

For those familiar with Splinterlands, the system works the same way: each pack contains 5 cards, with at least one guaranteed to be rare or better, however, by using special potions or tokens, we can double our chances of finding gold and legendary cards.

I’m referring to the Gold Flux and Legendary Flux tokens, available on the same platform for just a few cents, they’re not mandatory, but they increase the chances of pulling more valuable cards, and since opening a Centauri pack is a rare event, why not make the most of it?

How did it go?

3 common cards, one rare card, and one amazing legendary card: Armor Plating, valued at around $16 on the market, has already paid back the pack cost with interest.

But, as advised by my friend @libertycrypto27, this card is way too expensive in terms of Fuel for my beginner level, it costs over 46 Fuel per race, so I immediately staked it in my Auto Vault, and now, together with other cards, I’m generating more than 60 Fuel tokens per day, which finally allows me to race much more in Multiplayer, challenge others, gain experience, figure out what upgrades I need, and climb the seasonal leaderboard for a better Colony reward.

Chi conosce il mondo delle piattaforme Play2Earn su blockchain sa bene che c’è una regola non scritta che vale sempre: chi prima entra, meglio alloggia. È successo anche con Moon Karts, dove mi sono perso la vendita iniziale dei tanto ricercati pacchetti Centauri. Tutto esaurito, purtroppo sul sito non sono più in vendita, a differenza dei pacchetti Lady Luck, quelli di Stakehouse Den, che sono ancora disponibili.

Ma per fortuna, come spesso accade nell’ecosistema Hive, c’è ancora speranza: su Hive Engine si trovano ancora diversi pacchetti in vendita da altri utenti. Insomma, non tutto è perduto, e adesso vi racconto come sto recuperando il terreno perso.

Su Hive Engine, ho fatto una proposta di acquisto di 10 Hive, circa 4 hive in meno della prima proposta di vendita, che si aggirava intorno ai 14 Hive.

Ringrazio @tengolotodo per avere accettato la mia offerta, e grazie a lui mi sono portato a casa il mio primo pacchetto Centauri.

Prima di adesso tutte le carte che possedevo le ho comprate direttamente dal mercato interno, spesso andando a tentoni per capire bene come muovermi, però acquistare pacchetti da un modo di collezionare molte carte in un colpo solo, e se la fortuna ci assiste, anche di beccare qualche carta leggendaria o oro che ci può cambiare la giornata.

Il processo di trasferimento da Hive Engine del pacchetto Centauri può risultare un po' confuso all'inizio, ma dopo aver capito il funzionamento è abbastanza facile: basta andare su My Assets, e cliccare su Centauri Packs, poi scegliere Transfer, e nella prossima schermata scegliere Hive Engine dal menù a tendina, digitare il numero di pacchetti Centauri che si vogliono spostare, e cliccare Transfer In.

Aprite il gioco Moon Karts, e cliccate su My Packs, se tutto è adnato nel modo corretto, dovreste vedere i vostri pacchetti , pronti per essere aperti.

Per chi conosce Splinterlands, il funzionamento è lo stesso: nel pacchetto ci sono 5 carte, e almeno una è garantita essere una carta rara o meglio, però, usando delle pozioni/token speciali, possiamo raddoppiare le nostra probabilità di trovare, rispettivamente, carte oro e leggendarie.

Mi sto riferendo ai token Gold Flux e Legendary Flux, acquistabili sulla stessa piattaforma per pochi spiccioli: non sono obbligatori, però aumentano la possibilità di trovare carte più preziose, e visto che aprire un pacchetto Centauri è qualcosa di abbastanza raro, perchè non sfruttare tutte le possibilità a nostra disposizione ?

Come mi è andata?

3 carte comuni, una carta rara, e una bellissima carta leggendaria: si tratta di Armor Plating, valutata circa 16$ sul mercato, mi ha già ripagato con gli interessi il costo del pacchetto.

Ma ,come consigliato dal mio amico @libertycrypto27 , questa carta è troppo costosa in termini di Fuel per il mio livello ancora da principiante, infatti costa sopra i 46 Fuel per gara, quindi l'ho messa subito in staking nella mia Auto Vault, e così, insieme ad altre carte, riesco ora a produrre più di 60 token Fuel al giorni, che mi consentiranno, finalmente, di fare molte più gare in Multiplayer, così da poter sfidare gli altri, fare più esperienza, capire quali potenziamenti mi servono, in questo modo posso salire di posizione nella classifica stagionale, ed ambire ad un premio in Colony maggiore.
