Good Morning Splintermates and Fellow Hiveans,

Its another sunday morning and playing splinterlands is always fun and enjoyable. What's more, playing splinteland black foils are entertaining specially when you win and your ranked battle bonuses has a lot added to it. Today i want to share using 3 black foils in a modern ranked battle that gives me 60% bonus. Not only that i also share the sneak attack combo using this black foil cards.

WHAT ARE BLACK FOIL CARDS

Black foil card is one of the new foil type introduced together with gold foil arcane and black foil arcane. The first card type release on this is the promo card black foil arcane skinwalker and black foil gramel the hunger. Black Foils appear randomly in Conclave Arcana packs as max-level cards with collectible numbering. They cannot be combined.

PERKS OF BLACK FOIL :

1. +20% Reward bonus in ranked battles
2. Half the cooldown of Gold Foil cards in Survival Mode
3. 5x the DEC burn value, Collection Power, and Contribution in Conflicts of Gold Foils
4. 5x base Production Point multiplier (same as Beta cards)

Black Foils give 5x more Production Points than a Gold Foil

THE BATTLE

INTRODUCING BLACK FOILS INTO THE ARENA

With this battle i introduce 3 black among the 5 black foils i rented in @peakmonster . Thanks to @bravetofu , @renir , @splinception and @stetchestrasse for lending me their black foil so i could experience using them in the battlefield and enjoy the 20% added bonuses per black foil card every win. This Black rentals cost me around 178 DEC per day . That is around 2670 DEC per season ( 15 days )

So for this battle i used Cryptic as my archon, commander slade as my tank, pirate of eight as reach unit then stampeding calf as third position for its charge ability then used 2 sneak attack monster tidal tusnamist and boring hongoblin then last position is chaos adjutant. In this battle you notice i used 3 black foils that gives me around additional 60% bonus in my ranked battle.

My overall positioning in this battle is to used sneak attack and to poison my enemy unit . I used cryptic as archon because of its tactic ability provided which i choose the poison and expose. Now i got 3 source of posion the tank which is commander slade , tidal tsunamist and chaos adjutant. This 3 combination can inflect posion on enemy front , middle and back unit that means this batlle will last quickly. I choose commander slade as the tank unit because of its 10 health and 6 armor and his ability to dodge and backfire. I then used pirate eight as my second unit for his reach ability and blast. Then i used stampeding calf as third unit for his charge ability to attack in any position. Fourth and fifth unit are tidal tsunamist and boring hongoblin this two provide me the sneak attack and last position is chaos adjutant for its ability to poison and scatterhot. The 3 front unit focus in front attack while the 3 backline unit assist in killing slowly the weakest positioning of enemy.

BLACK FOIL BONUS : 60 % BONUS

In here after using 3 black foils i was able to have addional 60% bonus, this is aside from 10 % bonus in using gold foil archon , 15 % additional bonus from guild and 5 % bonus from my land title warden from owning more than 5 plots of land. As yo can see black foils are the highest contributor on my ranked battle bonuses.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Black foil cards are very good to use in battle because of its 20% perk bonus, which can go up to 140% if all 7 units are all black foil. The problem is that this black foil cards got only limited copies which few only have it. The good thing is you can rent them which the one i did to have the taste of black foil and to feel the new era which conclave arcana brings. Using the black foil and enjoying the additional bonus only few can experience and thats the chase.
