New Hive Game Alert : StakeHouse Den (I pulled an ACE)

While browsing my feed I came across a post by @aggroed announcing an update for the new Hive game launched thru arcade colony, called the Stakehouse Den. This is not actually a new game already since it's been around for a while now, but for me it's the first time I'm taking a deep dive into the game. So Before jumping into the game I made sure that I read first the WHITEPAPER to understand the game more.

They are initially offering 3 games inside the Stakehouse den, Blackjack, Slot Machine and Roulette. So if my understanding is right you don't actually bet actual money, you will be using an in game token $HOTSAUCE that can be acquired by staking $SCRIPT and cards. You can acquire $SCRIPT in your favorite hive exchanges (eg. tribaldex, hive-engine) and cards can be acquired by opening Lady Luck Packs. You will never run out of $HOTSAUCE since it will regenerate as long as you stake the needed tokens.

Now to start my game experience, I started by purchasing some Lady Luck Packs

First step I did is I bought some $Script on hive-engine, then so that you can use it to purchase packs you need to transfer the tokens in game. It has a lot of process but once you are familiar with how Hive Games works it's just easy to navigate.

Now its time to buy some packs, and to start I will buy 4 packs, and hope I get something interesting.

On my first pack I got a 2 royal cards, which is considered a rare card, I guess I'm lucky since only one rare card is guaranteed.

Opening packs is really exciting, specially when you get a rare card, and in my second pack I got an Ace.

Not much on my 3rd and 4th pack , but with the ace that I picked I must say, this was a nice first batch for me.

Now its time to stake these cards to earn some @HOTSAUCE . I just stayed with the level 1 refrigerator with a max capacity of 50 sauce while getting to know more about the game.

It turns out , I need to stake 2 $SCRIPT for every card I stake regardless of the rarity of the cards, so staking a higher rarity cards is more beneficial since it will have a faster sauce generation . I guess I'll learn more techniques the further I play this game, and so far I'm liking the learnings.

The $Script staked also determined the percentage of the generated sauce that I can claim, so if I match the needed staked script for all the cards I staked, I can claim all of the sauce generated.

Now all I need to do is to get more $Script to stake to claim my $hotsauce for me to be able to play the games.

So I guess this is it for now, I will be updating once I have enough sauce to experience the game.
