Grow Your Assets in Splinterlands by Joining a Guild | Teach and Triumph
Hello, Splinterlands friends! How’s your week going? This post continues with the same theme as my previous one—made especially for those looking for info about the guild feature in Splinterlands.
If you’re new to Splinterlands, the term guild might sound a bit unfamiliar. Simply put, a guild is like a “team” or “group” of players who band together to help each other, participate in special brawl battles between guilds, and earn cool bonuses you can’t get by playing solo. It’s like playing soccer—you can play alone, but having a well-coordinated team? The feeling is on a whole different level.
Back when I didn’t know much about guilds, I used to think, “Ah, it’s probably just for show.” I couldn’t have been more wrong. In a guild, you can earn Merits to buy Gladius Packs (which contain Gladiator cards with the powerful Bloodlust ability—absolute beasts once they land a kill), extra SPS from brawls, and additional Glint from ranked battles. All of this speeds up your collection growth and team strength by a huge margin.
If you haven’t joined a guild yet, the first step is finding the right one.
- . Directly from the Splinterlands website. Just go to the Guild menu, then filter by language, membership status (open, application, or invitation only), and hide full guilds.
- The official Splinterlands Discord in the #guild-recruitment channel. Many guild leaders post announcements there, complete with their guild level and joining requirements.
I joined my current guild, ClaNFT, through Discord. At the time, the requirements weren’t strict—just be active and meet a certain league minimum.
Leveling Up in the Guild
I’ve been in this guild for about 2 years now. Brawl after brawl, I started to understand the patterns and strategies used. Since joining, my rewards have been so much better than when I played alone. Merits flow in faster, letting me buy Gladius Packs more often. Now my Gladiator collection is nearly complete—just one legendary card left to hunt down.
What You Get Inside a Guild
Once you join, you’ll see several buildings in the guild menu:
- Guild Hall – the main hub; needs to be upgraded first before other buildings. The higher your Guild Hall level, the stronger your guild and its buildings.
- Lodge – gives extra Glint and shop discounts.
- Arena – the brawl battlefield; higher levels mean bigger rewards.
- Barracks – adds extra buffs to your team during brawls.
- Store – increases your merits earning.
Along with the perks, you also have responsibilities: join brawls, stay active in daily battles, and sometimes contribute to building upgrades with DEC/DEC-B. In my guild, we pool SPS rewards automatically to fund upgrades, so we don’t need to manage it manually—building improvements happen gradually without extra stress.
The Surprise Factor
One thing that amazed me was the community effect. In a guild, I don’t just gain material rewards—I also get strategies. In the Tavern (the guild’s internal chat) or on Discord, I can discuss decks, ask for opinions, and even borrow cards for brawls. That’s what makes learning so much faster.
Compared to playing solo, it’s like night and day. Playing alone feels like wandering through a forest without a map. In a guild, you’ve got a map, travel companions, and extra supplies.
Reflection
For new players, a guild is like a fast track. You learn from more experienced players, get special cards you can’t buy on the market, and enjoy bonuses that accelerate your account growth. Even if you start in a smaller guild, it’s still a big step forward.
Quick Advice
If you play Splinterlands and haven’t joined a guild yet—seriously, do it now. It doesn’t have to be top-tier; what matters is finding one that’s active and fits your playstyle. In a guild, you don’t just get better rewards—you also gain experience, friends, and motivation to keep improving. And if you’re interested in joining my guild, you’re welcome to apply or drop a message via the Discord link in my post footer.
