Hello, Everyone.

This post is the last one I'll share about the game Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Cause this is where it ends.
So, in my previous post, I shared the final battle to reach the ritual spot where Dominguez is about to complete the ritual to inherit the power of the Box of Ix Chel and use that to change the whole world. And I needed to stop him anyhow.

The path was not easy at all, but I finally reached the spot, and Dominguez was already there. He had already started the ritual, and it looked like I was late. He charged the box and started to take the power into himself. I needed to stop him before he could complete the process.

It looked like the three statues were helping him to grab the powers, and there were also three soldiers standing in front of those statues. I guess they were used as sacrificial pawns. I tried to shoot them with all sorts of arrows and guns I have, but none of them had any effect on them. It seemed like the glowing energy was protecting them as a shield. Bullets and arrows were just bouncing off.

It took me a while to figure out how to stop them or to destroy the statues. Cause my fire arrows, molotovs or shotgun shells were showing no effects on them. But, finally I figuerd out that I can break the small shell behing the statues and then use my axe to destory the energy core. That would broke the statue in half and release that soldier too.

The problem was, each time I destroyed a statue, the released soldier and many more would spwan at that time and attack me. And those soldier used as sacrifice were strong as hell. They really gave me a hard time. I didn't bother much with the normal soldiers. I could just send them flying with my shotgun as you can see in the pictures below.

After I destroyed the final statue. Finally the power transfer of Dominguez broke and now I have to fight him and a lot more soldiers. He was now strong as hell and the wrost thing is he could not teleport from one place to another using the power he had and he could take out about 75/80 percent of my life with just one single blow.

I died a few times trying to figure out the things and finally I was fighting him while keeping my distance. And after I gave him certain amount of damage. He would glow like this in the image below and during this time he would be stuck. I took these chances and stuck him with the power knife each time to take away the power from him little by little. It was getting harder each time but I was constantly doing it and I could see that he is kind of getting weak each time.

• Knife I used to steal the power. Looks like some of those were getting into me, too.

Finally I was able to defeat him and he was finally back to normal. Looked like at his last hour he realised his deeds and had a change of heart. He told me to use the power and protect Paititi.

Just as I grabbed the knife, all the energy were transfered into me and I had a flashback of my childhood. There I was seeing little Lara with her parents. Lara was extremely happy to see her mother again.

After I woke up from that flashback, I saw the queen of the Yaxxil standing beside me. And what you can see in the second image, I also think that she was killing Lara as a sacrifice. But later I found out it was just a process of the ritual. Lara was just acting as a host to complete the ritual to RECHARGE THE SUN and save the world. After that, we said our goodbyes to everyone and started our journey to get back home.
