100 OZ Silver Bar, WTF!
The nice and shiny piece of silver I stumbled upon today is this beauty. Una and The Lion 100oz silver bar.
100oz!!!!
This thing is freaking huge, 132mm in length, this thing is a beast and I want it sooooo bad!
The more I see the wide range of silver bars, I fall more in love with them. I am getting more and more tempted to start collecting them alongside my coins.
The cost is just the issue as they all have a higher premium I am finding than the silver coins of similar weights.
I have had issues with storing the coins as they are all in cases and slippery as feck. I am thinking the bars would potentially be easier to store and stack with less sliding about. The day will come when I get to try it out I suppose.

This was the first design in the Great Engravers bullion bar series.
Designed by Jody Clark who in the past did the Queens portrait for the coins.
I do find the reverse of the bar pretty boring and unexciting but I guess it makes sense to put the most effort into the front of the bars.
Also no King Charles, which would be an absolute horror show to view!

I don't blame you, those won't come cheap. You're better off buying a no name bar at 100 ounces, much cheaper. The problem with heavy bars like these is that they will be hard to sell because very few people have the money to buy them from you! Small bars are the smarter move!

I usually stack 10 troy oz bars, though the 100 size would be more space efficient. I don't recall this particular bar ever getting a premium reduced sale here in Canada.
All bars are too high premiums for me
Also the tax side of things here kills the want for me
