1400 Staked Splintershards (SPS), 11.07% APR (2025.07.22)

Today I bought 135.05 Splintershards (SPS) for 3.90 SWAP.HIVE in two transactions.

I staked 135.84 Splintershards (SPS).

Currently I have 1409.66 Staked Splintershards (SPS).

Currently this is worth only $10.57 USD, because 1 Splintershards (SPS) is currently worth only $0.0075 USD.

Nowadays I very rarely play Splinterlands, and I invest in Splintershards (SPS) mostly for its interest rate, which is currently 11.07% APR, to have another source of passive income.

This is a high risk investment, because its price fell from around $0.90 USD to below $0.01 USD in the previous few years.

And this is why I invest only a very small amount of money in it.

I prefer to invest mainly in low risk investments for long term (for years, for decades).

For example in Hive Dollars (HBD) savings.

And I rather invest only very small amounts in high risk investments.

For example in Splintershards (SPS).

But probably this is still better than buying a lottery ticket.

I will certainly continue to stake Splintershards (SPS), as long as its interest rate will be above 9% APR to have another source of passive income.

Of course this is not an investment advice.

This is only my personal choice, approach and decision towards investing.
