PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 29 Aug 2025

Greetings everyone, how are you doing as we wrap up the week. The latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended a couple of hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup my lineup against all the opponents that I am facing and how I adjust my lineup to ensure the rulesets are being taken cared of.

Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 3 or 4. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To also remind myself, I will also need to continue building up my collection and levelling them up. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

Brawl 1

Remarks
Selection:Going The Distance and Aimless. Effectively, this is a range match where we put in all kinds of range attackers and hopefully like me, there is Tatiana Blayde that can also deal melee damage. I did put up a few with close range to see if I am able to do sufficient damage to my opponent.
Outcome:Win! The close range cards made the difference while the taunt actually diverted away a tonne of damage from the frontline and also for my elves, due to execute, they hit a little harder and get more attacks out of it.

Remarks
Selection:Heavy Metal, Tis But Scratches and Healed Out. This is a little tough on me due to to lack of cards with armour and I can only do a small assemble of the cards I have and hope that I can overturn my opponent lineup. Marisol is a good addition to the lineup but will it be enough to handle?
Outcome:Lose. Opponent side had more girth with Grimbardun giving me alot of difficulty while the backline showered me with tonnes of magic attack and I ended up not being able to handle the barrage and fall to my enemies attack.

Remarks
Selection:Going The Distance, Explosive Weaponry and Fog of War. Not sure why, today seem to be an range day with so many range battles. I do feel I am lacking in terms of suitable cards so with whatever I have in the collection, I just put them up in hope of them doing me good.
Outcome:Lose. This is a situation whereby my cards did not have enough small mana ones and with multiple attacks, my opponent was able use the additional blast damage to his benefit and take out my cards with ease.

Remarks
Selection:Back to Basics, Thorns and Aim True. I thought with this and heavy mana, might as well us my death lineup that has loads of good magic attackers. Was contemplating using my water lineup in view of back to basic. But somehow the death cards look better.
Outcome:Win! I just had enough with the bigger damage attackers and secured the win.

Remarks
Selection:Super Sneak, Ferocity, Broken Arrow. For this I actually make use of the Archon to give me additional armour. And I also used some of the combination of weapon training.
Outcome:Lose. My backline cannot handle the crunch especially with a crazily increasing stat Trapp Falloway which cleared my lineup with ease.

Remarks
Selection:Close Range, Odd Ones Out, Aimless. For this, I use Elves as anchor to get the execute so that it will be getting an advantage. To be honest, I still think I need have more cards in elves as well to get full benefit.
Outcome:Win! Everything go as plan and I ave the advantage even without fielding a Gladius card. This is one really deadly combo.

Guild Final Tally

I was assigned 7 matches for this brawl and won 4 out of the 7 of which included 1 fleeing opponent. This performance is not good. And I really need to do some improvement in my collection as I am being overrun a few times by my opponent.

We tried our best but landed at position 7. Many tough matches and we definitely need to improve our game and become better. Loads to learn and improve for sure as we continue to better our game with with brawl. Go PIZZA 2!

Closing
There is definitely room for more people to join us in PIZZA 2and participate. It will be a bonus if you have a good collection of Conclave Arcana cards since those frays are poorly filled right now or even if you do not, just joining the fray could already help improve our guild win rate.
