Delegation Giveaway #1 Result (16.090 $TRENDZ, 25.09% APR)
Dear Splinterlands Community,
At the beginning of this month, I presented a new opportunity to earn $TRENDZ tokens passively by delegating HP. You can read about the whole concept HERE
The first giveaway took place between 1 September and 10 September. Let's see the numbers!
Delegation Stats
- 4022 HP was delegated by 18 accounts
- 13 accounts got a share from the reward pool by earning a total of 23403 Delegation Points
- 3 accounts (@chiboulette, @lumpiadobo, and @hatdogsensei) delegated less than 100 HP. Currently, they only support the project without rewards
- 2 accounts (@szobipetya, @trendztoken) and the main account (@splintertrends) don't earn Delegation Points, just boost the return for others
HP income
The total HP income was 16.090 from these sources:

How much is the APR (Annual Percentage Rate)?
I use the following formula to calculate the APR for 1 delegated HP per day:
APR = Rewards (1 day) / Delegation Points (1 day) x 365
This can be used for longer periods as well:
APR = Rewards (10 days) / Delegation Points (10 days) x 365
For the first period, the APR was 25.09%, which would be quite good in the long term.
But let me share some thoughts 😀
- The total earned HP contained the HP part of Author Rewards, which depends on the upvotes of articles and comments I publish. This value doesn't correlate with the delegated HP amount. Right now, it’s much higher than Curation Rewards, but later it may have less impact on the overall APR.
- The result of the first delegations arrived after 7 days, so most of the Curation Rewards are from the last 3 days. I think, for the next period, this part will be higher.
What's next?
In the later articles, I will always mention the overall HP income, Delegation Points, and APRs.
We will see, all I can say is that I will be working hard to be among the best services 😉

Things now much clear than before and we assume that 25% APR might slide as new delegation adds up but the number of rewards will be higher.
