CALAMITY—in Japanese, does it mean disaster, catastrophe, unfortunate event, or bringer of misfortune? It seems like a word with negative connotations, but does this child also bring misfortune?

Looking at the illustration, it resembles an axolotl (known as a “Upa-ru-pa” in Japan). At first I thought it looked like a giant salamander, but since it has feather-like things on the sides of its face, I guess it's more like an axolotl?

Calamity-chan may be adorable, but her performance is anything but cute.

First off, its cost is 4. A cost of 4 means it can be fielded in Little League. What a cheat! A unit with these stats in Little League is pure disaster. Countermeasures... looks like we'll have to take it down with concentrated fire, but it has high HP and a Life Leech ability. Seriously. 😩

Power is 3 points of magic attack. Starting at level 1. Even at max level it's only 3 points, so it might feel underwhelming for Diamond or Champion players? But Expose and Last Stand are also super strong abilities, so maybe not?

If Last Stand is active, stats get a 1.5x multiplier, so it'd be 5 points? HP at 15 points? Combine that with Life Leech, and it's seriously overpowered.

I'm at the Silver League level (Intermediate), so I only have three abilities, but they're powerful enough. I have Shapeshift, Electrified, and Life Leech, and even with just three magic points and Life Leech, I'm already strong enough.

Since it's a Dragon Element card, you need either SHENG XIAO or KAVOR SKARN to use it, but to make the most of Shapeshift, you really need KAVOR SKARN. It's expensive! 😭

By the way, his price shot up a ton a few days ago, right? It even came up in Discord when people were talking about CALAMITY-chan. English natives really do have a completely different speed when it comes to information. I'm jealous.

I'm happy about Electrified, but it's basically a disadvantage ability. It boosts Juggernaut, though. This kid has Life Leech, so it heals itself and doesn't seem too much of a concern.

Oh yeah, its HP is crazy high too. Level 1 and it already has 9 HP? How tough is that skin?! Probably uses some sticky bodily fluid to deflect attacks nicely.

Ah, seeing LORE confirms she really was an axolotl. And her foster parent seems to be SHENG XIAO.

I really need to step up my game with funding, but I don't have many cards lying around that seem likely to sell. They're either in my Brawl deck or my Land deck. Guess I'll have to sell the Summoner I've been renting out to make ends meet. 🤔

Sales must be slow because the survival mode is on hold. Price wars have started too, so pricing is tricky.

Selling at a premium now, then when the mini set releases at year's end, both DEC and SPS will rise due to that impact. Then reinvest funds to repurchase necessary cards. That strategy is viable, but the fundamental question is whether you even have the funds to invest in the first place...

CALAMITY は日本語では 災害 、 大惨事 、 不幸な出来事、 災厄を運ぶもの になるのでしょうかね？ 悪いイメージのある単語だと思うのですがこの子も災厄を運んでくるんでしょうか？

絵柄を見るとアホロートル（日本ではウーパールーパーと呼ばれるもの）に似ていますね。最初はオオサンショウウオに似てるかと思ってたんですが、顔の横に羽根のようなものが付いてるのでアホロートルの方かな？

この CALAMITY ですが、どうやら次のコンフリクトのカードのようですね。めっちゃ欲しい！😍 つぶらな瞳がかわいいね。

でも、お高いんでしょうね...

コンフリクト1の ZYRX THE EMBERGLACE が 106,000 DEC 程度なので同じくらいの値段で買えるかな？欲しいなぁ...

手持ちのカードを売って今から資金を作っておきたいところですが、なかなか売れません。高額のカードはやっぱり売買難しいですね。

こんなに可愛い CALAMITY ちゃんですが、性能は可愛くありません。

まず、コストが4です。4という事は Little League で出場可能。チートや！Little League でこのステータスのユニットはまさに災厄ですね。対策か...集中攻撃で倒すしかなさそうだけど高HP、Life Leech アビリティ有り ってもうね。😩

パワーは魔法攻撃3点です。レベル1から。レベルMAXでも3点なのでもしかしたらダイヤモンドやチャンピオンのプレイヤーには物足りないかも？Expose と Last Stand も超強いアビリティなのでそうでもない？

Last Stand があればステータスが1.5倍だから5点になるのかな？HPが15点？Life Leechも合わせて考えたらやっぱりつよつよですね。

私はシルバーリーグレベル（Intermediate）なので、アビリティは3つまでですが十分強力。Shapeshift、Electrified、Life Leech の3つになりますが、 Life Leech ありの魔法3点の時点でもう十分強い。

ドラゴン エレメント のカードなので使うためには SHENG XIAO か KAVOR SKARN が必須ですが、 Shapeshift を活かすためには KAVOR SKARN が必要ですね。高い！😭

余談ですが、数日前に彼、めっちゃ値段上がってましたよね。それも Discord で CALAMITY ちゃんの話題が出てたくらいに。やっぱり英語ネィティブは情報速度が全く違う。悔しい。

Electrified に関しては私はうれしいですが基本的にはデメリットアビリティです。ジャガノート強化しますよガブガブ。この子自身はLife Leechがあるので自分で回復してくれるのであんまり気にならなさそう。

そうそう、HPもめっちゃ高いんですよね。レベル1時点でHPが9点ですよ？どれだけ耐久度が高いのその皮膚は！？ きっと粘液でいいかんじに攻撃を受け流したりするんでしょうね。

ああ、LORE をみるとやっぱり彼女はアホロートルだった。しかも、育ての親が SHENG XIAO らしい。
