Splinterlands 🐉| New Design Update Helped The Deck Upgrade! [EN/PT]

Splinterlands - New Design and Upgrade.jpg

After a long time without spending the glint I've accumulated over the past few seasons, it's time to analyze my cards, see which ones I don't have yet and which ones I need to evolve. I also want to see which cards are ready to evolve. Looking at this, I've already got some that were available, but I hadn't noticed. Now, with the design change, it's much easier to identify which cards are ready to level up. Every improvement can influence matches; 1 extra HP can be the deciding factor between victory and defeat, so let's get to the UPGRADES!

I'll be much appreaciated if you Upvote, Reblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀

Design Improvements

It's curious to think that an improvement in the design of how certain card information is displayed on the collections page could help improve the deck. Previously, to find out if a card was ready for upgrade, you would have to go into the card and see if it was ready to upgrade, because only the number of cards was displayed. Now, with these constant improvements to the game's design, the number is displayed right below the card, with an arrow next to it indicating when the upgrade is possible.

I started looking at my cards from the Gladiator set and some from the Rebellion Rewards set, both of which players can easily obtain in Splinterlands, and I came across several cards that still needed to be upgraded. Among the Gladiator rare cards alone, there were six cards with an arrow indicating they could be upgraded, even though I had no idea. This was definitely a great visual improvement that had a positive impact.

One suggestion to further help players looking to upgrade their cards would be to have an additional filter that shows only cards with the upgrade arrow, meaning they have enough cards to advance to the next level.

Gladiator Upgrade

Before upgrading my Gladiator cards, I decided to get the merits available in the Glint Store, which offer a great value at 2,000 Glint for 2,000 Merits. With that, I accumulated the necessary amount of glint (20,000) to open 10x Gladius Cases, which contain 5 random cards from the Gladiator Set, at least one of which is rare or better.

Then, I opened all 10x packs at once, giving me a total of 50x additional cards for my deck. I got a good variety of common and rare cards, but the most interesting ones were two epic cards, Edith Emberstar. It's not one of the best epics, but it's okay.

After that, it was time to upgrade the Gladiator cards. Among the highlights, among the common and rare cards, we have: Hugo Strongsword, which reached level 5, gaining the Heal ability, which is essential for any tank, making it a great option for use in a life deck; other cards were Liza Fox and Palidon Rakk, which gained the Stun ability; Captain Katie received +1 magic damage, making her much stronger;

Special mention goes to Edith Emberstar, who managed to reach level 3, gaining the Cleanse ability, which makes her very useful in matches where the opponent or the ruleset can debuff my team.

Deck Upgrade

Among the significant upgrades in the Rebellion Reward, we saw Night Reaper Gold Foil reach level 3, gaining the Deflect ability and 1 more HP. Regarding the strategy, we analyzed which cards were missing to have at least one copy of each. Although I was missing one epic card, I still had five legendaries that I didn't have a single copy of.

So, to try to reduce this number, I took 2 Legendary Draws, since one of them didn't come, I decided to try my luck with the ultimate chest for a jackpot! But it was even worse, so I took one last legendary draw, which came back. The good thing is that with three copies of a legendary, you can level it up. In this case, the Blackmoor Jinx went to level 2, gaining +1 HP.

Splinterlands - New Design and Upgrade.jpg

Obrigado e boa leitura! 🍀

Melhorias no Design

Depois disso, chegou o momento dos upgrades nas cartas Gladiators. Dentre os highlights, dentre as cartas comuns e raras temos: o Hugo Strongsword, que chegou no nível 5, ganhando a habilidade Heal, que essencial para qualquer tank, o que o torna uma ótima opção para usar no deck de life; outra carta foi a Liza Fox e o Palidon Rakk, que ganharam a habilidade Stun; a Captain Katie recebeu +1 de dano mágico, deixando-a muito mais forte;
