Towers for Ancient Forest Map at Soulkeep

The Ancient Forest map in Soulkeep turned out to be much more challenging than I had imagined. As soon as I entered, I felt the game had entered a whole new level of challenge. The way is long and narrow and the Fiends come in high numbers making proper tower arrangement essential.

So I decided to change my strategy and choose a new combination of towers that would let me to last as long as possible. The first tower I placed was Slime Lord and it was honestly an excellent decision as it slow down the Fiends movement and gives me more time to deal with them before they reach the hearts. This slowness alone made a difference for me in the first few waves.

The second tower I relied on was Card Sharp. I loved this tower from the start because of its fast, focused attacks, and it could actually stop entire waves on its own, especially when it evolved. Its combination with Slime Lord made for a great combination; speed and slowness made defense much stronger.

The third tower was Fountain of Terror, and that was a story in itself. Its range was very large and covered large areas of the map, which helped me deal with enemies early on before they even got close. I really felt like I had better control over the course of the battle with this tower.

Not only that, I also decided to use a new spell, Raining Cat. Its effect is incredibly powerful when things get out of hand. I used it on a large group of Fiends at once and was able to save the day at a crucial moment.

I'm still experimenting with this deck, but I feel it's powerful and can take me very far on this map. Each wave allows me to learn more, and each tower has an important role to play. I'm excited to see how far I can go with this tactic.
