Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: How can you defend your team in Magic only Warriors?

Battle media challenge, Woh Woh, Splinterlands players,

I am back for a new battle description in this series of epic battles review. I hope that you had a fantastic week on Splinterlands.

This week, the focus will be on the magic warriors. The speed and the limitation of type of warriors that can enter the arena.

On this short note, let us discover the team in the arena and the importance of their presence in the battlefield.

Rulesets

Arena has poisonous gas all over the place

Magic and Range attacks hit random warriors on the battlefield

In the arena, only Magic warriors

Combination of Powerful Warriors

The rulesets have shown us the value of magic fighters in the arena. The potential to stop direct attacks and protect your health point for the entire round will be challenging. The best time is the one with the most interesting association of abilities.

You are going to discover why the light team did not survive the aggressive assaults from the opposite camp.

Warriors on the team above had serious punch on their side to make the opposition sweat for a long time. I had no problem with the attack, but the defense looks not in good shape in terms of abilities that can reduce the magic and poison damage.

It is easy to forget about the poisonous gas in the ruleset. However, the team that can manage to stay the heathiest in this condition has more chance to win this combat.

Now it is time to move to the second team.

Tofu had the abilities that did not contribute to the battle as strong as Lorkus. I found interesting the additional magic to the friendly team right before the first round started.

If you have never seen one of the cards below, do not warrior check their name in the market place to find the characteristic so your rental plan can be activated right away.

Magic Coolest Blockage Abilities

I found that the best combination of abilitites against the magic attacks is the silence and void combination of ability in a same team.

Lorkus team did not have silence, but the bonus help to maintain his dominance despite the enemy silence. Void and magic reflection on the tanker Arborist protected Lorkus team member for a short period. Poison and additional damage started to erode the life point of our first warrior.
Luckily, Weaver healed this tanker as soon as the abilities Corrupted healing was activated.

Usut could heal his injuries and gain benefit from destroying opponent cards on the boardd.

Shaman contribution in this team help reduce the enemy speed while the rest of the team had different ability to deflect, reflect, scavenge for life point, void and heal their position.

I could not find so many ways to survive on the light team. I guess that Tofu command his team to hit has hard that they can the enemy and to expect to see the poison do the rest.

It did not happen like the Light warriors expected. The lesson I can collect from this battle presentation is the possibility to build a defensive mechanism first that match the rulesets before focusing on the attack strategy.

If you have the potential cards in your collection, it is not wise to waste so beautiful abilities in the battle where only magic attack matters.

Do you play regularly with Shaman?

It was not easy to find a battle where Shaman was used to the fullest of his abilities in the arena.

I believe this was a great battle thanks to both players that I discover on this challenge.

Nice one man, your team with the healing and void armor worked better than just going all attack. I guess poison gas makes defense extra important in these battles
