Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Arcana Packs Opening and Epic Bloodline Battle

How are you doing, my friends?
It is a bright day for all Arcana warriors collectors in Splinterlands. You have the potential to build complex strategies in Modern format and deploy your talent as best players in the battle ranking section .
I started to open some of my packs acquired during the presale. The battles are super intense not only in Modern but also in the tournament challenge.
It is a nice second half of season on my side. I can not complain much because in Wild my team has entered the Champion League.
In this edition of the social media challenge, you will see in action Artificer and the Gnome bloodline in the competitive environment of abilities.

Rulesets

Only even mana cards allowed in the arena
All units lose 2 health point at the start of each round
Only five units per team on the board
Mana value: 46
On both side of the arena, you will see powerful warriors with abilities that can stop either magic attack, boost melee or heal damage from direct attacks.
The real important ability in this combat was immunity against the poison from the ruleset. The Clanktrap team was the only group of warriors with such defense.

A. Composition of your teams base on the ruleset
Do you think that the lack of immunity in the Wold team prevent his conquest to the victory?
I believe that Wolf selection had something hidden that help his group to survive up until the last run despite the lack of protection against fume.

Wolf healing potential and the speed of Fighter plus Artificer created a super advantage on the light summoner side.
I love the selection of warriors who did not fall under Gnome bloodline but add value to the offensive forces.
It was a bit risky to focus his entire offensive strategy on range attack, considering that the warrior once in front line could not operate unless equipped with close range.
The death team on the opposite side of the board had a terrific set of abilities that will create the difference later in the round.
Clanktrap selection looked weak at the first sight in the arena, but his careful utilization of abilities pushed the power control to his corner at a crucial moment of the battle.

B. Dark forces and their nefarious abilities
Clanktrap gave to all friendly warriors the close range and painforge. I did not pay attention to the useful role of painforge in this combat with poison fume. The ally on the side of Clanktrap gained one additional point of attack each time poison damage hit their position.
I was surprised to see the magic attack of Skinwalker and Arborist increase every round. The battle plan of Cranktrap was carefully built according to the ruleset.

C. What can you do in this last round?
Wolf selection had a good run up until the last two rounds in this battle. The healing from Sage kept strong warriors on the board longer than expected. The only problem was the selection of range warrior in your team when you do not have close range to put the archer to work once they appear on the first row.
It was a beautiful battle that Cranktrap won with a tricky strategy.

I was happy to open two packs from the Arcana Conclave set. I was hurry to open these packs bought during the presales without enough potions to unlock powerful cards.
One of the pack was standard and the other was alchemy category. The result after the opening was great and encouraging to open the rest of my packs when I get enough resources to get the potions in sufficient number.
